Using the Cain on the baby terminator is just a waste anyway, it's got too many weaknesses to exploit. It's a ridiculously stupid boss battle anyway. If it can't defend itself then why are the feeding tubes exposed in the first place? It survived the drop to the base's floor (which might as well have been a drop to hell), it SHOULD have been able to shrug off anything I was firing at it.

I did manage a one shot kill with the Cain against the Thresher Maw on Tuchanka once, but it had to have been a glitch because it never happened again.

So after about four tries, I finally remember to level up Liara first.

That battle can be rough if you don't kill enemies quickly enough.  Once I was just breezing through, killing everything as it landed.  I ran to get ready for the next flying truck only to have it land on me and kill me.

Missing with the Cain? Sure easy enough to do. Try bringing the rocket launcher to that fight and then see how you feel...

Yeah, the T-1000 is surprisingly hard to hit with the Cain. I've missed even when I'm absolutely sure I should have hit. Some shenanigans with its hitbox methinks.

It seems Cain should be renamed as MassEpicFail Gun. And yes, here's another victim I was trying to nuke two heavy mechs when Legion decided to walk in front of me. Either that or there was an invisible wall laughing at me.

I've probably killed myself half as many times as I've used it successfully   And half the time even when it works, it doesn't deliver results as impressive as you want.

But I the Cain (you can tell if you watch the vid in my sig )

I hate using the Cain. I've only ever taken it on a couple of missions. Funnily enough I rather like the Missile Launcher for most missions (I'm not good at aiming )

For the Reaper I tend to just use a pistol!

When I figured out that the best weapon to use against the reaper tubes was the gorram SMG, I facepalmed so hard.

Well I had the Cain and fired it up.
I was just about to take the shot but I walked into a pillar and blew my self up.

Most of my epic fails were using Charge as a Vanguard. The number of times I've charged someone I thought was the last of the bunch only to find myself surrounded by 3 or 4 more who I'd just run straight into the middle of! Really annoying.

Yessss.

Also, my charge button was the same as my throw button in ME1. I died like five times before I thought to move it somewhere else.

Have done this one myself....Running around, killing the mercs...then sudden RED SCREEN!......WHAT THE.......Not until the fade out pic did I realize what happened....Shep + Truck= Shep pancaked........bugger...

If you're talking about the post-de-tubing fight, it's actually easier than you'd think.  It has that habit of rapidly shifting to the side, or ducking, and the Cain shot needs to impact something to detonate and it's just a lot of empty space behind the thing.  Plus, it's got that long charge period before firing, so the timing can get screwed up pretty easily. 

That said, the HR also has that long window where it charges its weapon and is stationary the whole time.

Yeah, I missed too on my first try. That Reaper thing is one agile bastard. Luckily for me, Harbinger was kind enough to donate some HW ammo for a second try, which was a success.

Then i got enough power cells

Then i thought i was far enough away from these blue suns
