What would you want after the mass effect trilogy?

Let me first say that the last thing I want is a Mass Effect MMO. Please don't do it, BioWare.
That being said, I think development for the next game should be built for the next generation console, so plenty of development time can take place. I would love to see an individual title, with its own subtitled name (ala Mass Effect: ______________). Please, no Mass Effect 4, 5, etc.
As for plot, I am interested in whatever Casey Hudson comes up with, but I in no way want there to have Reaper involvement. The reason: this trilogy is THE DEFINITION of epic, and I don't want it to be distorted. The Reapers are awe-inspiring...an amazing antagonist...but I want the arc to completely end and close in Mass Effect 3.
I would love to see a prequel involving more Saren. I would also love a new plot involving a new galactic species yet undiscovered by anybody.
I just don't want a new game to pop out every year and this franchise to get watered down. I would rather it end completely than have that happen.
Okay, I totally dig this idea, A LOT in fact:D
I could also go for something along the lines of a game like Batman: Arkham Asylum, or Assassin's Creed. My dreams of becoming a Drell assassin will finally come to fruition!
But in all seriousness, I'm loving all the ideas everybody is coming up with. You guys are making it even harder to wait for ME3:crying:

After ME3 all I want to do is have the ability to play as a Turian.

a lot of you use origins as an example, but I think Elder Scrolls is a better one, because of the exploration and freedom to do what you want aspects.
I agree. I've been saying since ME1.... after the completion of Shepard's trilogy I want an Oblivion-style rpg. Where I can choose to be an Asari, Batarian, Turian, you name it! And live in the Galaxy of ME..... freakin amazing!

Personally I think Morrowind was better with exploration than Oblivion, but that's largely because it was one huge mostly continuous world with only interior areas being separate from the rest of the world, (apart from Tribunal of course) though Oblivion had its strong points as well I just didn't feel the exploration was as well done.
Never played Morrowind, but I heard a lot about it.

Just throwing out another idea.... a Grand Theft Auto style ME game.... ME: Omega, Illium, whatever.... flying cars, Mako's, wait..... Prey 2 is beating them to the punch from what I hear.
No-matter what they do, I want more Mass Effect! just as long as they don't screw up the lore through crappy multiplayer combat.

If the next ME is a sandbox game I'm blaming all of you (I despise sandbox games). I'd rather it be a FPS like COD than that honestly (and I also hate COD).

I hate COD! generic shooters are lame. I pulled out the GTA card because of the driving and exploration.. large city detail (obviously I'd want this to somehow expand to multiple cities on different planets) and Oblivion because of character creation (graphic updates needed... but the ability to be completely different looking races is awesome, not the super skiny elf, short dwarf, and average human of Origins)
*sigh* Am I a gamer that just likes... games, no matter the genre? I am a fan of FPSes, TPSes, sandbox shooters... not so big on racing games. Got into the open-world RPG thing with Oblivion. I don't mind the turn-based RPG system, but I don't play many of those games. I also enjoy aerial combat simulators like Ace Combat, and games like Spore... well, after playing Spore, let me just say that I HATE that the ME trilogy doesn't allow for so much exploration... I hope in a future game they do a system like Spore's Galaxy stage.

I would also accept a prequel starring Wrex during the Rachni war or Krogan rebellions.
To my knowledge Wrex had not been born at the time of the Rachni Wars, and we only know that his father Jarrod was in the Rebellions. Wrex may have been as well, but I doubt it.

He clashed with his father about continuing the rebellions after the genophage though, so he most likely fought towards the end of them if nothing else. Also, I'm not against time travel as long as I get to see Wrex kicking ass.
True, true.

It should have its own story and it sort of shows you what happened after the choices you made maybe like 20 years later
