Looks like the most common scores are - DA:O equaling to a 9/10 and DA2 equaling to a 5/10. I read the whole thread.

DAII 7
Should I bother with reason, nah, it's all been said time and time again.

DA:O = 9.25
DA2 = 8.5
The two main problems I have with DA2 are the re-used maps and the ridiculous enemy spawning from nowhere.

DA1 and D2 = 8.5ish each.
Way too many DA1 fanboys rating it a ridiculous 9+.
DA1 = great role-playing
DA2 = better story and better characters (example: varric > oghren)

Could say the same about people giving DA2 a 9. You shouldn't, though, because people have different reasons and opinions on why they think both games are better or worse. It's not "being fanboyish", it's called liking what is in the game. Just because you disagree with them, doesn't make them fanboy's, it just makes you a troll.

I'd say someone giving DA2 a 9 would be a fnaboy too. Consideirng I've been called a fanboy' for thinking the games are 'equal' saying peoplem who give a game 9+ fanboys is not that bad. Besdies, if you love the game enought o give it a 9+ why should you care about being a 'fanboy' of a game you love.
Hell, both BG2 and NWN have flaws that I can list a mile high but I have no probs being 'fanboy' of them. Awesome games.

DA:O: 8.9
DA2: 6.7
abhorrent design decisions and lack of development time cost about 1.0 each and the needless visual disconnect accounts for the final 0.2

DA:O is a 10 in my books, because I can look past the bad graphics and minor glitches. The story is what will stay with me for the rest of my life until I die.
DA 2 was a disaster for me, and I give it a 2 as it was too disappointing as I hated all the changes that were implemented in it.

DAO: 10 (best CRPG ever made)
DA2: 6 (not a bad game by any means, but considerable behind DAO in every aspect)
I've tried to be objective in my rating of DA2 - biased by my disappointment for it not being a real follow-up to the story of DAO, the rating would have been more like a 3 or 4 to be perfectly honest.

DAO-9.5
DA2-8
DA:O did many things well, and is one of the best RPGs in my books. The only thing keeping it from being a 10 is the voice acted player controlled character, which was one of my favorite things about DA2.
DA2 was also a good RPG, but had it been given more time, it could have been better. It has a great storyline, actually I think I prefer Hawke and the storyline better than DA:Os story and the warden. But DA2 seemed to get a bit repititive and boring at parts, mainly for the lack of unique enviroments and equiptment that looks the same. Also, DA2 could have been a bit longer, but I would be happy with a post-DA2 DLC or expansion, as long as it has Hawke in it. Probably the thing I missed the most was the many conversations with companions in DA:O, as they let you actually get to know more about your companions.

I'd rate both Origins and DA2 somewhere between 8 and 9. As LesEnfantsTerribles wrote:

For various reasons..
DA:O 9/10.
DA:2 6-8/10.
I don't hate DA:2, it's just a personnal preference based on what was missing or made silly imo.

Origins 9
DA 2.... 5 it could have so easily been at least an 8 but it just reeked of half arsedness hence the half a score. The game it should have been was in there but it was lost under the garbage of reused levels plot holes "streamlining" and god knows what else.
Dunno why ythey dont call their "streamlining" "lubricating" as thats what is needed for where they shoved it....

DA:O — N/A, I didn't play through the whole game, I got bored with it.
DA2 — 7, overall a fun game, memorable characters, good voice acting, combat is okay, but it isn't a perfect game, as has been cited by others since its release. But 7 is a good rating, and with the right DLC content, that rating could improve considerably by the time it's all said and done.
