Just for you Zani, a complaint with as little whining as possible.
I did not like the reuse of areas, I normally don't mind if they reuse a map once or twice but this was way too much for my taste, and yes I am very lenient on map reuse if done correctly.
I did not enjoy the lack of plot changing choices, I have played multiple playthroughs and the end result is always the same, not so with origins or both mass effect titles.
I did not like how they implemented waves of enemies dropping from knee braking heights, this could have easily been avoided with the use of doors only enemies could use.
I do not enjoy being insulted by devs for not "getting" their game, I got it I just did not like it.
I do not like the bashing of origins to promote it's less popular sequel.
I do not like how they marketed one game yet sold us another.
There that was all complaint with little to no whining, but of course one can try to interpret my post as merely another whine
Thank you. Now I shall address your complaints as that is one of the purposes of this forum.
1. I agree. Maps were reused far too often. However, I understand the reasoning behind their reuse. Still, it is a flaw.
2. Choices could have been handled better, yes. Though, I don't feel that Origins handled this much better. Personally, I feel that Bioware should do away with save game transfers in order to allow greater differentiation within a single game. Having to account for past choice in future games limits the amount of choice that Bioware can reasonably include.
3. I enjoyed the wave mechanic; however, I do feel that spawning could have been handled batter in certain areas and that it was overly used.
4. I haven't felt insulted by anything the devs have said, so I believe that to be a personal issue with you and certain others.
5. "Bashing" of the predecessor is a common marketing tactic. You don't have to like it.
6. I don't feel that they lied to me with their marketing. As such, I believe it to once again be a personal issue.
