i think DA 2 is lacking because it was rushed and they took a lot of people that worked on DA:O and put them on The Old Republic. DA 2 has some nice ideas and looks great, but it's lacking.

Which version of bladerunner, erynnar? ;)

And I agree with him as well. Dunno why sex and such is such a 'taboo' down in the states. People in Europe seem to handle it well, up here in Canada, where I am living (meaning the town and people etc), it isn't that big of a deal.

Heh, I live in Quebec and I've seen boobs in newspapers & daytime television, I don't see what the big deal is. The US are so uptight, remember how they overreacted over there concerning Janet Jackson showing here boob on live TV (Timberlake pulled a piece of her clothing)? What made news here was how the Americans were reacting, not the boob part, lol. But Bioware belongs to EA now, so....

Guess I would choose another word rather than taboo: modest.

–adjective
1. having or showing a moderate or humble estimate of one's merits, importance, etc.; free from vanity, egotism, boastfulness, or great pretensions.

2. free from ostentation or showy extravagance: a modest house.

3. having or showing regard for the decencies of behavior, speech, dress, etc.; decent: a modest neckline on a dress.

Like the word itself, it also speaks to what is not said rather than the defined parametrrs itself; not bold, coarse. loud, or pretensious.

Some often jump from this to 'prudish' in defined thought, but that is an extreme view, and one often cast from those holding an extreme opposite mindset.

In game, I see it more as comparing Aveline to Isabella; much preferring the fomer myself. While Isabella is designed as a beautiful, attractive, and fashionable scoundrel, she has the self-control of a cat in heat; much like everything I detest about the character I see in Zev, too.

Most of us loved Origins and Awakening..Bioware made another Epic game on a different setting (thedas) mind you apart from the forgotten realms which the community greatly accepted. I am getting tired of people whinning and complaining about why DA:2 is a complete bust etc., I am one of many that got really frustrated about the release of 1.01 patch for the xbox 360, but guys BIoware did delivered story-wise.

That would be true if act 3 never happened

Yeah, at least Mass effect got romance right, except for Jacobe's weird "surprise" in a creepy rape voice, but at least not all characters were "I want to sleep with you and everyother man/woman/animal this side of kirkw...I mean citadel.
