it will logged u in on dragon age server from the moment u start, if it fail u can tried again by cliking triangle,...if u made to connect to dragon age server it will show u available content to download, if u not yet downloaded any, there will be three DLC wich is Red dragon Armor, stone prisoner, and warden's keep. if U already redeem the code and download the content than there should be only warden's keep left in download section this one we have to pay it first.
for red armor after u downloaded it will be automaticly in your inventory but only the armor, for gloves, boots, and helmet you have to buy it from dwarve merchant that follow u in the party camp, dont worry u can't wear them any way from the begining coz it requires 32 strength to wear them if Iam not wrong.
for shale, U should check your Quest in downloadable content section in the game, if there is Shulcher pass Quest than it means you already redeem the code correctly, just follow the Quest and it will lead you to the stone prisonner wich is Shale.
U dont have to be afraid if U do it corectly and download it it will atomaticly instaled in your hard drive so you can always play with the content even u are planning on play it with another character from the begining so there is no way U could lose the content as long there is the code u can always tried it.
I hope it could help

Do try to enter the game in sign in to playstation network first, if you already sign in state, then start the game, at the begining when u press start button it will Contacting to dragon age server, if it sucseded it will show the remaining DLC if U already downloaded all the 3 content,..it wont shows u anything. then go check Downloadable Content Under Load game menu, to see the status of the content, mine is 3:
1.blood dragon Armor
2.The stone prisoner
3.warden's keep
If U already download the 3 of the content it will be popup that said:
"No content is available for download at this time please check later for new content updates. If you have previously purchased the content and need to download it again, please quit the game and check your Download List."
To see Download list go to playstation store under playstation network menu at the Up right corner there will be 4 litle icon wich is: search, redeem codes, View download, View Chart.
go to View Download, you will be in Download list, If U already redeem the code it will be there, u can always redownloaded it again even if U already sucseded. but if its not, go to redeem codes icon and reenter the codes.
First thing you have to remember is always To sign in to playstation network first (signed in) before to start the game. if you want to deal about DLC stuff. but you dont have to do that if u just want to play the game.

i just got my DA Origins for PS3 it came with BD Armor, Stone Prisoner, and 5 exclusive unlocks, i entered them on the website, and none have shown up in my DA game. When i go to downloadable content from the menu, it is empty and says there is nothing to download.
You must enter the Stone Prisoner/ THREE exclusive unlocks in-game. Then download it from PSN for free.
But I have the same problem with BD Armor.

I was able to download the shale DLC no problems. I followed the instructions for the armor, it shows up in my entitlements page, but doesn't show up in game anywhere. not in the downloads section or in my inventory. I have emailed EA support but all I got back was a completely useless stock email that was no help whatsoever.
exactly the same problem here

Also, I've decided never to buy a game from this company again unless they make these additions available, easily accessible, and free to all in the near future. This is the only satisfactory and ethical way to remedy the situation.

As with others, i foolishly followed the instructions for the blood dragon armor for BOTH the BDA and shale the unlockable companion, and it is in my unlockable redemptions.
however, even though i registered my ps3 game of dragon age:origins, and have countless times checked both the psn store and the in game store, the price of the items remains unchanged.
I swear to ****ing christ, if i just unlocked the dlc for a pc version of dragon age origins, i'm never purchasing from bioware again, regardless of how great their games may be.
Because if i have to go to great lengths to FIX what problems following the instructions caused, then it isn't worth it.
heh, like the ****ers who work at bioware even care.

I tried to enter them in the ps3 but it comes up invalid code, since i already entered them online and on PSN it tries to charge me to download Stone Prisoner, i cant find the exclusives anywhere on there.

The lack of support for this issue is quite frankly staggering...so so disapointed with the service.
I would advise everybody to do what I am doing
Play the game, complete it and when your finished with it take it back for a full refund (Im in the UK as Dragon age advertises the free dlc on the box Bioware's failure to deliver it breaches consumer protection laws and as such I am entitled to a full refund of what I paid for the product.) Im sure there are simmilar consumer safeguards in whatever country your in.
So dissapointed, from now on it will be no copies or used copies for me (I paid extra for a new copy to get access to the dlc, Used copies where available and if I had bought a used copy I could have purchased the shale prisoner dlc and still saved myself £10.....I wont be fooled twice)

My Shale code worked and dl'd fine, but the BDA code returned a This Service Is Unavailable In Your Region error several times and gave me nothing beyond a Purchased tag in my Downloadable Content screens.
However, after simpply playing through the game a little to the point where you first exit the Tower and arrive at the Camp, I decided to try dl'ing the BDA again, and all of a sudden it worked. I still don't have anything in my inventory, but the game has recognized the BDA redemption and both DLC's seem to be incorporated now.
EDIT: I DO actually have the Blood Dragon Plate in my inventory. My bad.
