Even if it did, it would have as much to do with Pokemon as Pokemon has to do with Pink Floyd.
What? You don't remember Darkside of the Lunatone, We Don't Need No Evolution, and Learning HM02?

It's the inevitable truth, both games have the same feel. Exploring and getting data on things, doing jobs for people, pokedex/codex, a rival and a main boss. The ending of Mass Effect 2 makes the squad fully utilize their powers, such as biotics, technichians, stealth, etc. Well, the very end of Pokemon when your playing the Elite Four, you have to force your pokemon to surf, break bricks, fly, and so on.AbsolutGrndZer0 wrote...

*Facepalm* First off, calm down, I wan't being serious to the point that they literally stole from the Pokemon series, I was just pointing out that they're two strikingly similar games.TUHD wrote...
/facepalm If you're going to say that Mass Effect 'stole' from Pokemon, name also the few thousand other games who've got a similar kind of system.... about the majority of RPGs and such. *Facepalms again* Wait, you can also say then that Pokemon stole from earlier games. Yay!
Edit: just read the remainder of your posts... you're badly informed or making things up - either way, this thread deserves a lockdown... it's got that much misconception and non-argued accusations, that's just amazing.

Both games are customizable. In Pokemon you have your pokemon, you choose their abilities, in Mass Effect you choose what powers your squad uses/ how they use them. Both games you give your player a name and it's gender.
