It's not just CC. It's also a huge damage buff. Maybe the enemy shouldn't fall down after Stasis ends. That's also what makes upgrading Stasis a bit pointless. Particularly against large enemies.

OLutside Ymirs and scions that doesn;t make a difference.  Everything else is pretty much one shot by the big gun classes.  And even againsty the ymirs and scions the one shot classes handle them really easilty.  Without the bugged part of it, just the standard ragdolled damage multiplier it still puts you under less damage than the big gun classes.

I used Stasis on the final YMIR mech outside the asteroid on Arrival and he just flew away. Never seen that before. I was playing Vanguard so I put stasis on him pretty early out there.

I've had that happen twice now with stasis.  Once in the Jack RM 2nd ymir  fight, though he didn;t really fly away as so much launch from across the room and land at my feet then proceed to kill me.  The other time I got a luanched away on Jacob's Loyatly mission.

I had a couple enemies who were not disabled while in Stasis. Enemy Engineers casting drones and shooting can be dangerous - never happened with a YMIR though, that would be bad :)

Also, try using Stasis on Cpt. Wasea (Samara's RM) - most likely she will dissapear once Stasis wears off which ends respawn = easy fight (boring though).

What about the various "commander" or "elite" units? Geth primes as well. I'd say such enemies are quite common.

They take 2-3 shots from a vanguard, they really aren't a threat.  They are only a hassle to the people who rely on weaker attacks to strip defenses before they can do their real powers.  Stasis at most brings other classes in line with the power of soldiers, vanguards, sentinels, and infiltrators.  Of cource those classes can use it as well, but even when its my bonus power I never use it with them.  It actually makes me weaker in most cases, wasting that long of a cooldown on one guy rarely is worth it for them.  Get much more bang for your buck from a AR, Charge, or tech armor cooldown.

I don't know, I still think you can exploit it to get kills too easily. I know it would have been useful for my infiltrator. Instead of hitting someone with 3 cloaked Widow shots, you could Stasis them and oneshot them when it ends.

You're probably right about Soldier though. AR is already an insane damage buff.

Anyway my point with the thread was actually just to say that I felt I used the skill as a crutch. Instead of avoiding certain incoming enemies by killing them quickly or moving properly, I'd just be lazy and throw Stasis at them. It makes me play worse I think. But when you reach an enemy like Vasir, Stasis just helps me stay awake. It was a cool fight the first time around, now I find it far too long.
