So I have 3 chatracters with out the majority of game have them on my team achievement. I started a new game and heck I'll be playing probably 3 times to get them to 60. 2 quick games and 1 complete game. Can you get the achievement on quick playthroughs or do you have to really rack up side quests?
How amny quests do you need for squad mate achievement?

You have to complete nearly all the side-quest with the same 2 characters. I remember getting it with 1 side-quest left approximatly once I was lock on the citadel.

Thanks. So I need 2 full play throughs to get it for all 3 of them. Ah well, this will take more time than I intended. Luckily it is a fun game.

I believe I saw the number 45 attached to these achievements for most squad mates. Liara and Garrus, however, need 50 assignments completed with them. Not sure if there really is a difference or if someone miscounted though.

Does anyone know if the branching assignments count as multiple completed assignments or one.
For example Citadel: Doctor Michael -> Citadel: Doctor Michael is safe.
Is that 1 or 2 assignments, because if it is 2 it looks like I can get all 3 of the achievements in the same playthrough if I do every assignment. .

For whatever reason, even if I used the same 2 party members for the maximum amount of time possible, I would only get one per playthrough.
Although I don't know whether that's because I only just scraped 45 missions with one and only got 44 with the other or not.

Yeah, I was surprised to have 3 of them done and not a even number of them. I guess I always came close to getting the 2nd one on a play through but didn't.

I got two per run-through except Liara. The first time I tried for Liara I failed to get the achievement, which was a bit annoying. At the time I hadn't thought to put the Citadel quests on hold before I picked her up.
