Hi,

Have done some google searching but just keep getting the old hotfix result for catallyst.

I've got 2xHD5770 up and running fine with most of my games and benches but for some reason Mass Effect 2 only sees one gpu? I've got MSI afterburner giving me the real time temp/usage display in game so I know it's not utilising both cores.

Any ideas or suggestions? When I use catalyst to up the aliasing I'm seeing a drop in fps so I'd like to get the other card on board to help out.

PS:

I'm running windows 7 64bit, core i5 750@4ghz, 4g ram and all my drivers are up to date.

1) Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;

2) Please post a full problem report as per this thread: http://social.biowar...6/index/4795299

Hey Bogsnot1,

Have registered the game, how do I take a pic of my config and post it in the reply section?

Cheers.

Use the print screen key and paste it into paint, or some other graphics package, then upload the saved file to an image hosting site like photobucket.
Or just type it all out, the old fashioned way.

Thanks for you patience Bogsnot1,

Processor: Intel Core i5 750
Clock Speed: 3998 Mhz
Physical Memory: 3.99 GB
Display Adapter: ATI Radeon 5700 series
VRAM: 1GB
No driver is listed in the driver version? But it's Catalyst 11.4.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) service pack 1
DirectX 10.0 (Mar2009) or later

The game is on DVD, came with a voucher for Cerberus and I've patched it to
MassEffect2.exe v1.02
MassEffect2Launcher.exe v1.01
MassEffect2Config.exe v1.03
Unistall Mass Effect 2.exe v1.03

Using MSI afterburner I'm seeing no use of gpu2 at any time during the game. I've also enabled the crossfire logo and it does not appear during the game.

Have you enabled Crossfire AI? From what I recall, this is required for CF to work under ME2, although I also recall from other reports you might get occasional blue lines across the screen, but this was using older Catalyst revisions than 11.4. Might have been fixed by now.

There is also a hotfix available to allow anti aliasing to be enabled under Crossfire for ME2. This also might solve the issue for you. Link here (111mb download)

Afraid I've tried those options:( Oh well, it still runs well enough with one card. I'll double check, reluctant to do a reinstall.

Cheers.
