Ok, on my current playthrough, I'm romancing Zevran. I'm near the end and have had the encounter with Taliesin. My relationship is maxed out and he is offering his earring to me. The problem is that I refused it because I want him to offer it to me again when it means something, but he won't offer again. I did a few missions, came back, and spent another evening in the tent, but still nothing. Luckly I didn't save after this happened so hopefully I can fix whatever is going on. I was just trying to figure out if it's a bug or just something I'm missing. Thanks!

It's not a bug. You made him mad apparently. Take a peak in the romance section on his wiki page. You don't seem to get a second chance to get it.
