I have been playing Soz  as a AT (2ro/5Wiz/2AT) and I need to up my UMD. Current level is 10 going 11.  Im trying to decide which is the best of the following three following options.

Ro4 gives 13 total skillpoints + uncanny dodge.  Delays spellcasting and sneak by one level.

AT3 gives 9  total skillpoints + imprompto sneak + completes 4th level spells. Delays nothing if continuing with AT.

Wlk gives 7 total skillpoints + 1d6 vanilla EB(beats all spell resistance) + leaps n bounds (semi perm +4 Dex) Also delays spellcasting and sneaks.

I'm using spell mods that allow sneaks on touch spells, so the  EB would be a permmant back up, in addition to wand of frost.

Also what  level can one reasonably expect to reach with a party of 4 in Soz?

I'm not sure that Warlock would be worth it in this case... 1d6 EB is going to be worthless to you at that level, unless you actually run out of spells or something. Leaps and Bounds is good, but if you're playing in the OC or a similar setting, +Dex items are probably going to be fairly easy to get your hands on, and LaB doesn't stack with them. Maybe you can't get a +4 item, at least not yet, but it's not going to be worth what taking, say, AT would give you, imo.

In SoZ, your ending level can vary depending on how much you can do, but I hear something like EL 16-18 being a good guess. Basically don't expect epic levels, you're likely to be <L20 with a party of four.

AT for spell and sneak attack progression.

End level: It depends, about 15-20.

Thanks. That is what I had pretty much decided to do regarding the AT.

I will then plan my crew to expect a Lvl 18 finish.

If you want reliable back-up damage for an AT, pick up the craft wand feat and craft a scorching ray wand. It's low level so it's cheap. It does 4d6 fire damage, no save. And if you are using a mod to add sneak damage to spells, you will get sneak attacks with it.

I've played SOZ several times. A standard party of six (four of yours plus two companions) will typically reach level 20 with just a little bit of farming; 19 otherwise. Your party of four could be a bit higher because of extra experience, but not much because most of the XP is in set amounts for quests while the XP for encounters diminishes while you're levelling faster.

I prefer playing an AT-AT

My armor is too strong for your blasters.

Can ya get an AT-AT in Highcliff? :)

Good suggestion on the wand. Done and done.

Also thank you for more clarity on the level expectations.

By the way my other members are a single class Bard (wanter to have a side by side comparision to the AT, Ranger12/FB5-7?, and a Druid.

Another nice backup option for an AT would be Invisible Needle reserve feat in Kaedrin's pack. Uses force energy, deals d4 damage per spell level of higest level memorized force-type spell (Bigby's hand spells qualify as well). And can deliver sneak-attack damage too.
Of course you need Kaedrin's for that.

Definately not worth picking Warlock for that.
