I am not sure who's wonder child the DLC is but it is a piece of crap.
I have purchased all of the DLC available for the game as I really ejoy it but I have had install problems on and off for a year.
I have followed all of the DLC instructions in the forums and blogs and now I am downloading content I installed when I first installed this game (Dragon Armour, Soldier's Peak, etc.)
Now I cannot even play the game because the content is being installed.
This has been running for 12 hours.
How long does it take to install downloaded files?
Great error handling - files are probably corrupt in some way as it takes days to download and then when it tries to install failure.
Why can't a new DLC manager be made available.
Now I guess I can spend a number of hours on the phone with EA.  Yeah!:(

Still having problems though this post helped Redeemed DLC Unofficial Troubleshooting and FAQ (PC Only).
Been working on this for over 4 hours and I have installed some new content but what a pain in the ass.
Make DLC like patches download self extracting executables not what ever the DLC is it does not work.

Afraid it's hard to comment constructively, since you've included neither system information nor what version of Dragon Age you have... your game is not registered in the forum, either.

You can try manually installing DLC... there's a link about half way down the first post of the Solutions Round-up.
