How little are we talking?
I'm tempted to take this to ridiculous extremes with a mushroom forest tileset

I'd say that sounds like a ridiculously good idea. ;)

All I do is bemoan when haks don't work for my pw, try to fix it, build areas, and ask for scripting help when I can't make existing scripts do what I want. Really I'm useless to ya'll. :P

What about "soft" custom content that doesn't involve any modelling skills or similar? Let's say someone like Jen would come up with a set of books containing dwarven jokes, gnome stories or halfling recipes? Or create a very nice prefab area that fits the theme? Wouldn't that work, too, or is there a rule against it?

No rule against it, I believe. All contributions are worthwhile. The challenge isn't just for modellers. :-)

Was thinking of adding this mount for Halflings.

Looks great.  There's the kind of wolf that Belkar from the Order of the Stick would love to ride into battle!   But does anyone know if there's something like this out there already? (I'm no expert on mounts.)

How about a small iron stove.

How about a small iron stove or small hanging lantern.

*groans*  Did anyone else get a horrifying flash of blue halflings and gnomes in white hats, strolling about a mushroom town humming a very annoying song?

No rule that I'm aware of no.  As Jez said at the start, the point is to have fun.  That rule works well don't you think?  *sleepy grins*

So give it a try Jen (and all you lurkers out there).  This group hasn't turned blue in the face laughing at my attempts to learn to make custom content.   ;)

Ohhhh! More mounts.  Excellent Draygoth28.

If I had turned blue in the face I could join the gnomes and halflings strolling about the mushroom town, though I would spare you all the humming.

Hmm. Should I try to make a smurf? ;)

I'm gonna make some small-sized furniture. Nothing too crazy, just some ordinary tables and chairs. :-)

*GROANS* Should have kept my mouth shut! *noogies Zwerkules and Rubies*

Great idea Este. There are small sized beds in standard NWN, right?

Yes, though I don't much like the look of them.

*chuckles* That was NOT a hint to have you make new ones.

Nah, I'm overloaded with redoing WSI as is. I can offer you guys textures if you tell me what you're looking for, if it's too not hard to find, since my day job is photography. NWN tends to be the night job/addiction.

Ohhhh it got quiet in here. With this group and the recent blue hummy theme I'm a bit worried!

I'm waiting until there's just a short time left before I put a little thought into this height-challenged theme.

This is still very unfinished, but since Lass said it got too quiet, here's a screenshot of what I'm building:

I hope it will look better when it is finished.

And it is not a smurf. :P

Kind of looks like a table or altar.I know its a house but when i first saw it a table poped in my head and i said wow that looks cool with grass on top.Something a halfing village might have.

When I made the walls and roof of the building shown in the first picture of the previous post, I felt like deleting it all and make a smurf ;) or something else instead.  I didn't like the way it looked. Adding windows and shadows didn't improve it enough either, but now that I've finished it, I think it looks good enough.

It's meant to be an expansion for the TNO tileset, so it uses the textures from patch 1.69.

It's just the first of a number of halfling houses. I'll make a few more next week.

If anybody would like to have that garden bench as a placeable, I could make a placeable from it. It would fit the March theme better though.

Heh, if I'm honest I think I thought not far from the same as you Zwerk. It does look really great now, though. Excellent work! I really like that bench too. Me want as placeable. Is it at standard sitting height?

 I just edited the last post when you said you'd like it as a placeable, Six. Its height is at 0.58 meters. I looked at the Bioware chair and that was at 0.5, so it might be a little too high to sit on.
