Finished the game this third time and opted to go faithful with ME1 romance. Flirted with Kelly, got her to feed my fish, rescued the whole crew in the Collector Base.

Survived the ordeal, opted to continue playing (as I have lots of N7 assignments left to do) I approached Kelly the first time and she said "Commander you have recieved a new message at your terminal." Yet there is no unread messages I can read. Is this a bug? Has this been fixed?

Sometimes I find that if I've just come back from a mission, go to my terminal and read my messages before going near Kelly (and thereby get my "you have received a new message" comment), and THEN go near her, Ill get the comment but obviously no new messages.

This could be what has happened to you.

EDIT: I restarted the mission, chose a different end and the email still won't show up. Great. Do I have to roll another character to find out Bioware?

Still nothing after that. All the email I'm getting are the recently finished N7 assignments, none from Kelly.

Sounds like you missed one of the flirt opportunities somewhere along the way. Did you speak to her after the SM to find out how she was coping?
