Any mods that fix male MageHawke's arms in Champion Armor?

Does anyone know of any mods that change the mage Champion armor so that it doesn't look like male MageHawke has been abusing steroids the entire time he's been in Kirkwall? Seriously, check out the difference:

My MageHawke at the beginning of the game.

Note the smooth, muscular--yet not over-muscled--arms.

The same MageHawke just before the endgame.

It looks like his veins are popping out, his arms aren't as smooth, and they're over-muscled (and also darker). Ew.

Frankly, I'd prefer MageHawke to be even less muscular than he is in the beginning. It would have been nice to have different body types; I always imagined my MageHawkes to be less muscular than a warrior or even a rogue would be. Barring different body types, though, I'd just settle for a Champion armor that doesn't make my MageHawke look like he's about to compete for a Mr. Olympia title.

If there are no mods already out there like this (I did check Dragon Age Nexus), can some enterprising modder out there make one?  Pretty please?

There aren't any fixes, but I would definitely like one. That arm is just disgusting, I wish it could be swapped for the arm from all the other armor models or even just the one from the nude body model, just slap on the blood squigglies and we're good to go. I don't understand why they modeled such a creepy Trogdor arm. Especially when Hawke takes off his armor and his arm looks completely different. I don't really care that he's buff, it's just that specific arm looks like he's been injecting synthol into it.

But this fix would involve a lot more than simple texture editing, so I am not sure how feasible it is.

The arm is supposed to represent abusing blood magic. I just wish someone made a retexture for my non-blood mages...

So abusing blood magic makes your arm super giant and lumpy? Where's female Hawke's Trogdor arm, then? And the alternate version for non-blood mages? I don't buy it xD

I think the subliminal message is: "Blood magic is bad. Your only mage endgame armor choice assumes you do blood magic. Therefore, all your mages should be bad. You are bad."

So much for goody-goody mage Hawke... she's non-canon!

I don't understand how blood magic would give Hawke a gross, super muscular arm sleeve that comes off when he takes off the armor. We're not talking about the texture but the shape of the actual arm.

But that's not the case. That's ridiculous and unsupported.

Ugly arm is ugly.

I don't think there's any way to rationalize the ugly away. It's just there, unexplained and distracting me despite how much I like the rest of the armor. If anyone figures out how to fix this, it'd be great. I think we'll likely have to wait for an update to the tool set (or not; modding's not really my area of expertise, so I could be completely off base).

Nah, toolset doesn't matter.

It just takes someone with both the expertise and the desire to edit the model.

The toolset isn't necesary for this, just someone with photoshop and some time on their hands. I'm baffled by how many people think the tookset is the only modding method.

That still doesn't explain why no one has done this yet. I'll try it if someone gives me the texture names.

Texture editing won't do anything. It's the model that's ugly. Have you even been reading the thread? :P

Texture editing could still smooth out some of the lighting wierdness and remove the symbol. That model, though... that *is* ugly.

Which leaves me right out: desire I've got; expertise, not so much.

I'm at least glad to know I'm not alone in finding it incredibly distracting and ugly!  (And, if truly linked to blood magic, inappropriate for all three of my MageHawkes, none of whom were blood mages.)

Arms are male mammaries. And everyone knows the bigger the better, amirite.

Weedy look? Nah. Let a man look like a man, not like some nerd or rainbow boy. Rip off the other sleeve too and make that look as beefy :) Although, should he suddenly take off his armor, then the contrast is visible. Maybe someone can beefi.. uh.. fy him up as a whole. Add some tattoos and scars to boot! Ah well, jokes aside, I personally like it, though it should be balanced on both sides.

Nah, one arm being developed better is definitely realistic. Hawke gets laid literally once in seven years, after all.

(ok maybe few times if he ****s around)

There's "The Blooming Rose" in Hightown for your Hawke, you know, if he indeed has just this... "one arm advancement" situation :D

Speaking of which, I wonder what is that "special reward" there what the loading screen keeps talking around. Unless that trains arms, then better to skip it else it'll be like the pic few posts above, and I agree on that one, that would be messy.

The point isn't to make him look weedy but make it look like his arm wasn't designed by Rob Liefeld. You can be fit and muscled without looking like that.

I wouldn't even mind covering up that arm with some cloth. It is really fugly looking.

There are some things we shouldn't even joke about.

I've seen a mod on DA nexus that does this, It's just a champion armor edit. Leme see if I can find it.
