Pro-Templar Playthrough: Let Bethany die in Deep Roads
Any other playthrough: Bethany joins the Circle, Carver joins the Wardens.
You actually gave that spoiled brat the honor of being a Grey Warden?!

I was considering his best interests.
Has nothing to do with inflicting a now shorter life full of darkspawn nightmares onto him out of revenge, I swear.

Not much variety there.
Me. I was playing a mage who was falling in love with Anders, was BFF with Varric, and brought Carver along a lot of the time because family is family.Skokes wrote...

In my first time through I had no idea siblings could be spared from dying in the Deep Roads. So poor Carver died. I was very bummed.
Same here, though I have to say it gives the Deep Roads a lot more dramatic heft.
I can't imagine a lot of people made Carver a Warden without knowing how to do it ahead of time. Doing so requires a party of Mage Hawke, Anders, Carver, and Varric. How many people just happen to choose that particular combination?

Carver always dies at the ogre. Always. Thanks, Dragon Age Nexus.
There's a mod for that now? I thought you had to fiddle around with the console.

Well, I took Bethany out back and started to whisper in her ear and gently stroke her face...
oh you meant in the Deep Roads! Oh yea! No there's no wincest going on here. I made her a Grey Warden.
NOTE: I don't approve of wincest, just wanted to make a joke

First run as a Mage, Carver became a Templar. Second run as a Warrior, Bethany was taken to the Circle, but at the end she joined me.
