I was thinking, let's say you have an older Flemeth, and her younger daughter Morrigan. Let's say Morrigan and Flemeth switched bodies before your pc first met Morrigan, with their spirits exchanging bodies. Morrigan could have done this out of loyalty to her mother, who needed a new body. Flemeth is limited to Morrigan's powers, and Morrigan gains Flemeth's tremendous powers. The goal is for Flemeth to concieve a child with the pc while in the guise of Morrigan, and then Flemeth runs off with the baby. Then, they enact a ritual to transfer Morrigan's soul from Flemeth's body into the baby's body, discarding Flemeth's skin. Flemeth, in Morrigan's body, would have gathered much power by adventuring with the pc, maintaining her status as a powerful witch, and she will raise the baby Morrigan to adulthood. Whenever Flemeth becomes old they conceive a baby from another ambitious, powerful man and do the swap again. This way Morrigan stays young, and Flemeth lives forever. Perhaps there was only one Witch of the Wilds and one daughter, and they have a pact with each other to live forever.
