No, can't say that I have, his name was 'Darrian' when I was making him, I liked the sound, but didn't like the spelling, so changed it.

And by experiment I meant that I went against my usual method and instead used bright (relatively) make-up for these characters (except Sherisae). I think they came out pretty well.

Ah, I see.  Yeah, it was the spelling that caught my attention.  There's a female character in one of the books whose name is Darien so I thought maybe that was where you got the name.  Oh well... back to your regularly scheduled thread
