There's nothing wrong with playing the other gender. I even started a group based on those of us who don't limit ourselves to our own sex when playing games. I play both, but I prefer playing males because it's more interesting and "foreign" to me while gaming.aebriol wrote...

Human Noble
Personality: Racist, Prideful, somewhat snobbish. (May change a few of these, depending on what happens in-game. Life saved by an Elf, best friend killed, ect.)
Potential Romance: ...? (anyone got a recommendation? Thanks thanks:))
Really cool characters, guys! Keep up the good work.

If only those facial expressions would carry over into the game. Must be helluva fun to see him like this in important story dialoguesZared88 wrote...

So much for the sake of forum fun, he'll turn out quite differently ingame though. Not exactly a sympathisant of the casteless, but tired of all the schemes and plots he has to deal with as a noble, unwilling to indulge in decadence while our people face greater worries than their social status.
In other words, he has "No Nonsense" printed on his forehead. I'm curious where this will take me in dwarven society and the game itself. He certainly won't get along with Alistar, Zevran and the likes

If she's racist towards elves, I wouldn't suggest Zevran as a romance option (you know, unless the life saved/etc thing comes about). Your only other option is Alistair, unless you don't mind her being a lesbian... Then there's one other option for you, but no confirmation yet as to who that is.TerraXV wrote...

Playing as a male would feel more "foreign" to me if every other game in the universe didn't have a male protagonist. Bioware's one of the only game companies that lets me play as my RL gender, and I RELISH the opportunity. I do usually play both genders on multiple playthroughs though, to try to experience everything the game has to offer.

Here is Clarissa ... I think my youngest looking character! She is a Human Mage.

Next is Kairee my City Elf Warrior:

And lastly is my Dwarf Commoner Rogue. I love how her portrait turned out:

I meant "foreign" to my own life experience rather than "foreign" to gaming, but your view's completely understandable.Savvy30039 wrote...
