Hi,

I just found out I appear to be limited to 50 save slots in total. I've read through the manual, and it never mentions anything about a limit to the # of save game slots..

I admit I'm a bit of a save-a-holic. I like to save the game a lot.. I ended up with around 800 save game files for Mass Effect 1.. (and close to 1200 save game files for DA2.. lolz).. only to find that ME2 seems to limit me to 50 save game slots..

Just wondering if this is a game feature, a bug and/or technical problem with my game/install... and if there is any way around this apart from either saving over old files or constantly moving save files out of the save folder...

Some call it a feature, others call it a bug because they dont like being limited to 50 saves. Either way, its hard-coded into the game to have maximum of 50 saves.
Search through these forums and you will find a few postings on what people have done to bypass the limitation.

Console games sometimes have a limited amount of save slots. Even though BioWare always claimed otherwise, Mass Effect 2 on PC is a console port and this is one of many things they forgot to correct after porting. (The other things being menu shortcuts, mouse wheel support in menus, etc.)
