If you have sex with Zevran early on (before he falls in love) in the scene after he'll joke about him seducing you and it being inevitable, and then ask 'where it goes from here', mentioning that he's fine with it being a purely physical relationship or a one-off.

But if he falls in love with you, offers you the earring and is even pushed to admit a sort of proposal and then asked to bed... he still says the same thing?

Is this a bug? Is there different dialogue intended, or was it just forgotten to be implimented?

There is no alternative dialog.  Dialog Tweaks actually puts in a nicer comment as opposed to his after talk speech.

I find it weird that it is the same, actually, given that other conversations that happen late in the game with him have made love and not made love variant (royal scandal talk, tent time refusal as well).

Zevran does have a few bugged romance dialogs, however.  That just isn't one of them.

It's possible the writers simply assumed Zevran would have been bedded before the earring scene, or perhaps there is a flag missing somewhere where sleeping with Zevran is *required* to get future romance dialogue (case in point: "Ever since you invited me to your tent I have been nothing but confused.")

So I do think there is some sort of omission or oversight.

No.  The royal scandal talk has alternative dialog for in love have not made love and made love, as does his refusal to do the tent time.  You DO have to ask him to the tent to get his final confession of feelings so him saying, "since you've asked me to your tent I've been nothing but confused" works whether they've made love or not.

I think it's just another end game thing that either got left out completely.  Alistair and Morrigan also have glaring issues where there should be alternative dialog and there isn't (Gray Warden Alistair thinking he's king, King Alistair in one dialog not acknowledging he's engaged -- hah, I bet almost no one knows how to get that -- and Morrigan's DR comversation not being different based on romance status).

Hm. I forgot about the royal scandal (I haven't explored that dialogue enough >.<)

But I still think there are oversights  XD I mean, there's even Wynne's comments about the budding romance that...ahem...speaks quite LOUDLY of teh sexytimes even when it's not happening.

(Or maybe PC and Zev were playing patty cake?)

^^ Wynne's totally uncalled-for and inaccurate observation sent my indignant DC straight across camp to drag Zevran off to the tent. Complaining about noise, FINE, have some REAL NOISE. XD

Yeh, there's actually one worse one -- if a female warden tells him she'd rather not know about his sexual history -- the game only has one branch and he says that they've had sex.

However, I do think these things are oversights; I don't think that it's assumed that Zevran is having sex with his romance partner. You should ask him to the tent after he's in love if they haven't made love -- he is so much sweeter there if you pick the different choices.

With Wynne, I always just took it not so much about sex as Zevran and the warden just having fun together. That does seem to be her main objection, and Zevran is definitely someone who could party. I could here her complaining just because they were hanging out and having fun after a day's adventure.

I guess it's acceptable to assume that The Warden have slept with Zevran at least once before he falls in love.

Oh Gos, me too!  I thought Wynne was only a judgemental old biddy where Alistair was conserned. Since she is like his adopted mom, but I once got the Zevran complaint, My Warden took Zev for some tent time.  My DC, DE, and CE playthroughs.  The only time I haven't gotten Wynne complaining is for a Leliana romance.  Does she have anything to say about this pairing?  

My Male Cousland playthrough, I romanced Morrigan, and what she had to say angered me so much, I had to have fun with her.  I picked the Dialog "I'm a real man, and You should see me from the waist down,"  Man, that shut her up for a while.
