And guess who's getting reelected.  :wizard:

:pinched:

I hope not, it wasn't exactly Obama (or Bush for that matter) journeying across Pakistan with a Delta Force team hunting down Al Qaeda and avoiding getting shot at by our Pakistani "allies."

Yes, well...pecking order.

Nay. May I reintroduce you to the real man who killed him. You may know him as the man who preserved the Union, brought back from the dead by a crack group of CIA operatives with one goal in mind. Kicking the ass of America's enemies.

Exactly. Look at the Civil War. When in 1862 the war was goig badly for the Union, Lincoln and his party suffered in the elcetions. When they did well, such as the capture of Vicksberg and the Capture of Atlanta, Lincoln's popularity and his party rose.

Like it or not this clinches it. No one needs a crystal ball for this one. We're talkin' 10 years later, man. That's going to have an effect on American moral.

At any rate, champagne for everyone. I feel like celebrating. :)

Hmm...I don't remember at this moment, but what does it say anywhere in the forum rules about this sort of matter? Or would it fall under the political discussion, which, as we know, is not allowed?

So it wasn't a airstrike then....they had his location for a week and Obama finally gave the Navy SEALS the go-ahead to assault the compound where Osama was chilling. Apparently, he died with a shot to the head.

Yeah man, it's honestly pretty much a done deal at this point. Combine how beneficial for a reelection campaign something like this is with how poor the GOP competition is for this election and we're looking at another 4 years with Barack, I would say with 80% certainty.

I'm glad this thread isn't full of "PUT HIS HEAD ON A PIKE INFRONT OF THE WHITE HOUSE" and "I want to spit on his corpse!" posts. Some people are getting a little carried away with this.

Nonsense. Hopefully a GOP canidate better than Trump will emerge. If we are stuck between Trump and Obama, our country is pretty screwed regardless of this news. Our country MUST be capable of producing and electing a better leader than those two.

The economy is still in the drain meanwhile, and the whole debt thing.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd put the remains of his shattered corpse in a cage on the White House lawn.

A chapter comes to a close in the bloody book of terrorism, but the book isn't over yet. I'm a firm believer in the preciousness of life. Still, thank god that bastard is dead.

I never like to exult in the death of another human being, but I'm glad that Osama is gone. Justice has been done. Hopefully this will bring some closure to the families of those who lost loved ones in 9/11.

We need to be ready for the danger of reprisal attacks from Al-Qaeda or their sympathisers now though.

Actually, the worst punishment would be to throw his body in with pigs., and stick a piece of bacon in his mouth.

But yes, cutting off the head of a Hydra will never kill it. Two more just grow back. You much strike its heart. Hopefully we will,
