This is completely off topic I suppose but I was wondering how many of you guys bought the space hamster from the souvenir shop? I imported my char from Me1 and I thought I had a ton of credits but after I purchased that cute little guy I notice a chunk of my credits were gone! Since each novel costs around 5 credits and ships were couple hundred I never would have imagined that the hamster would cost 7610 or so credits. 

Right after I purchased him I went to complete the "save the crates" mission and only was able to salvage 9 crates. Granted I was only on veteran on my 1st playthrough but up to that point in the game that was the most difficult mission in my opinion. So in hindsight I was thinking to myself I probably should of spent the money on health and armor upgrades....

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so! 

When I saw the description stating "he looks up at you with what it appears to be a smile" I was sold.

I figured if I am going to save the entire galaxy and I want a hamster when I do it, damm it I am going to get a hamster. 

Plus since I'm a spectre I assume I would have special clearance and can bring rodents where ever I go.

Wait what do you mean get taken by the alliance, I'm about 19 hours into the game. I'm fairly new to the Me series.
