It will randomly close the game and give me one of those "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has stopped working" messages with no error report. Any thoughts?

mine works fine on vista. it could be because i got it with the best of pc edition KotOR2 gives me that message and it doesnt come with best of pc.
