I've brought this up in a few other threads, namely the Act 3 thread and the 1.03 thread, but it hasn't directly been addressed in either.  Every time I go confront the Elven blood mage, Huon, in the Alienage, about ten seconds into combat (not including pressing space to pause the game), everything freezes and I have to alt+tab to find out that the game crashed.

I don't really know what I can do.  I have to do this quest in order to finish the game, and I'd like to finish the game that I paid full price for.

There is no "Customer Support" here. Read the description. This is a Self-Help tech discussion forum. EA does the support. I just gave someone a DAO link, so it's in the Windows clipboard still, and you can backtrack a notch to where you choose games.

First off, no one can help you unless you list your system specs, video drivers, etc.

Secondly, usually if the game crashes in the SAME spot, again and again, you have a borked file(s).

Have you tried deleting the game and reinstalling it?
