To play a game set in the Mass Effect universe that lets you play as a race other than human. Maybe if they do an MMO?

Because I really want to be an asari.

I'd also like a Blasto the Jellyfish mini-game/DLC. That would be so awesome. It would also force me to play as a renegade which I find difficult otherwise.

Batarian lovers, unite!

An interesting, full-fleshed Batarian character would be so very welcome -- either in a game or at the very least in the books. And an option to play as a Batarian would also be great, along with an option to play as more 'casual' Council races.

(I'm just a bit sad to see that ME3 spoilers do not hint at us having a Batarian squaddie. Eh.)

"Within video games, a lot of people say that they want to see an MMO," says executive producer Casey Hudson. "I think that kind of makes sense for this universe...part of what you're trying to do in Mass Effect 3 is to save that universe so you can live in it. That's part of the promise, I think, for any great IP. It has to be a world saving...I think Mass Effect has that quality to it. If you get rid of the Reapers and win that, wouldn't it be amazing to just live on the Citadel or just take a ship to Omega? That makes sense."

Ditto. I'd love to see a batarian squadmate in ME3, could be some great tension seeing as Shep is responsible for the death of so many batarians.

It worries me to see that everytime there is this great fictonal universe. People's first response is "Let's make an MMO!".

Please. Let Mass effect stay single-player.

But to the original topic. I would not mind a ME related game where we can play as other races.
