*clears throat*
Bioware, we need to talk. I know, I know--who do I think I am, making demands of a corporation like I'm entitled to it or something? Well, whatever; this is the internet, so I have the right to be a self-important jerk every once in a while. As for now, I am going to mercilessly push my agenda, because I can.
I have conducted a few polls in the past, and the overwhelming majority of BSN users agree: show us the females.
Hell, 63% of people polled would even consider romancing a turian lady if presented with the opportunity.
We NEED turian women in ME3, Bioware. NEED them. As in the Mass Effect series will be ruined forever if we don't get them. Super-serious.
You see, unlike salarian women, who are rare and hold positions of power, and krogan females, who remain isolated due to breeding "politics," turian ladies are equal to men in terms of societal roles. EVERY turian goes to boot camp at age 15 (see Codex), and we've heard of at least two females holding positions of power--Diluvian Wildlands provincial ruler Pavan Sahira (see CDN), and Shastina Emperus, the somewhat insanely ambitious politician behind the recolonization of Invictus. We have also heard from Garrus about his adventures with a certain reconaissance officer, read about his sister, Solana, and have even seen a few females in the Evolution comic.
Granted, they aren't very pretty:

But they don't have to be--they're aliens. Besides, Dark Horse's rendering of most Mass Effect aliens is... questionable.

Now, I gotta say, Bioware, the excuses for not including turian women so far have been... rather weak. In the first two Mass Effect installments, you got away with it for needing time and disk space for other things, but with all this hinting you've done so far, and considering how up-close and personal we'll be getting with the turians in ME3, I think it's time to deliver.
I facepalmed when I heard Derek Watts' "oh we try to avoid turian women because we can't think of a design that doesn't involve lipstick, herp derp." How can the creative art design head be that UN-creative? Are you honestly that obessed with making every single female character in a game sexy by human standards?! Puh-LEEZ.
LOOK AT THESE FAN CONCEPTS. LOOK AT THEM.

TL;DR: FLEXIBILITY, GOD DAMN IT. MAKE AN EFFORT.
kthnxbye
EDIT: Leonia42 reminded me about Ambassador Orinia, a prominent and powerful character in Retribution.
