Yes, it's THIS thread again.

*clears throat*

Bioware, we need to talk.  I know, I know--who do I think I am, making demands of a corporation like I'm entitled to it or something?  Well, whatever; this is the internet, so I have the right to be a self-important jerk every once in a while.  As for now, I am going to mercilessly push my agenda, because I can.

I have conducted a few polls in the past, and the overwhelming majority of BSN users agree: show us the females.

Hell, 63% of people polled would even consider romancing a turian lady if presented with the opportunity.

We NEED turian women in ME3, Bioware.  NEED them.  As in the Mass Effect series will be ruined forever if we don't get them.  Super-serious.

You see, unlike salarian women, who are rare and hold positions of power, and krogan females, who remain isolated due to breeding "politics," turian ladies are equal to men in terms of societal roles.  EVERY turian goes to boot camp at age 15 (see Codex), and we've heard of at least two females holding positions of power--Diluvian Wildlands provincial ruler Pavan Sahira (see CDN), and Shastina Emperus, the somewhat insanely ambitious politician behind the recolonization of Invictus.  We have also heard from Garrus about his adventures with a certain reconaissance officer, read about his sister, Solana, and have even seen a few females in the Evolution comic.

Granted, they aren't very pretty:

Posted Image

But they don't have to be--they're aliens.  Besides, Dark Horse's rendering of most Mass Effect aliens is... questionable.

Posted Image

Now, I gotta say, Bioware, the excuses for not including turian women so far have been... rather weak.  In the first two Mass Effect installments, you got away with it for needing time and disk space for other things, but with all this hinting you've done so far, and considering how up-close and personal we'll be getting with the turians in ME3, I think it's time to deliver.

I facepalmed when I heard Derek Watts' "oh we try to avoid turian women because we can't think of a design that doesn't involve lipstick, herp derp."  How can the creative art design head be that UN-creative?  Are you honestly that obessed with making every single female character in a game sexy by human standards?!  Puh-LEEZ.

TL;DR: FLEXIBILITY, GOD DAMN IT.  MAKE AN EFFORT.

EDIT: Leonia42 reminded me about Ambassador Orinia, a prominent and powerful character in Retribution.

We didn't even get female dwarfs in DA2, things don't look good.

Dear BioWare, if there is a turian female LI in ME3 I will buy the game for full price the day it's released.

I want to see Salarian and Krogan females too. All these three races play a major role in both games and we don't even see the other gender. I honestly thought that ME 2 would have them but no.

Yeah, that was majorly stupid. Made feel that the developers just cutted them out because they weren't sexy enough.

On the other hand, if there are no female turians, there's a chance Shepard will walk like a lady =P

Well I'm not going to have my ass bounce off the walls when I say thi- *ass bounces off the wall* FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF TURIAN FEMALES NAO! *Huffs and pants*

To be honest I got to admit that aside from the Asari and Human Females you see, I don't really expect a lot of Salarian Females to be sitting around everywhere. There's a logical explanation for that and as for Krogan Female's... well I doubt they're going to be everywhere. But Turian females do seem to... not appear anywhere. Never really understood why. Perhaps BioWare didn't have the time to design that sorta stuff back in ME1 but as for ME2 I was surprised there was no appearance of one.

Haha, I gotta say the image of Wrex is hilarious. Flat face grubby nosed moron.

Anyway back on topic, CHEEZ IZ RITE. Turian females should appear more. They aren't drool worthy as I've already got Asari for that and Matriarch Boobezia's but I thought that Turian Females have just as much of an equal role in the Turian way of life than the males do... yet we don't even see them, just hear.

But hey, I'm not doubting BioWare. They've been reporting about the females left right and centre, not to mention the amount of references we've seen as Cheez has kindly pointed out. Do it BioWare, let there be Turian fem-

*Remembers that Palaven will be featured in ME3* Well... if you don't have Turian females there then quite frankly I don't know what to say. OMIGOD I HAVE DONE A HUGE ASS POST.

Hah! You're totally right... and I thought the exact same thing when I forced myself to finish the game last week. Cripes!

Seriously, every time I see this thread I post the same thing.

Bioware needs to waste less time on pointless crap like the Vorcha and 1billion husk variants (I do like the new husk variants, but they're going a little overboard) and develop on existing races. Basically, do want female turians. I'm sure designed by anybody but dark horse, and with face paint, they'll also look alright as well.

Yeah, no female dwarves in DA2 was ridiculous. Especially seeing as they already had the models<_<

*Sees title of thread and runs in*

"Oh my gosh, I think it's a scrog thread! These are always the best! Man, I've had so many jokes in the holster for one of these. It's about time I let my hair down and crack a few--"

*Sees that AdmiralCheez is the creator*

"Oh.... She would never make a scrog thread....I always found maturity to be over-rated, but whatever. What would I know?

*Reluctantly reads topic before nodding head in disappointed agreement*

"Turian females? Sure, why not. I would enjoy to see how they are handled after that awful Dark Horse art. Pretty sure I wouldn't romance, but that's just me.... "

*Shrug shoulders and walks out*

Maybe Bioware retcons them in ME3. They're all actually mono-gendered species (don't you dare to imagine two Krogans mating).

Yes, please! I'd love one for a squad mate, but hell, just in and around the world would be nice.
If there were female Turians I might even play a male Shepard. Maybe...probably not.
But there should definitely be female Turians! And yeah, those fan concepts are awesome.

What I'm wondering is if they made the Turian Feemale concept themselves or allowed that comic artist from Dark Horse do it.

I'm seriously not trying to be "that" guy, but I just looked at this pic more closely and I have one question--

What the heck is that male turian doing with his face? Because I know what I think he's doing, but I'm kinda sure that I'm wrong. Or I hope that I'm wrong.

Guys, it's important to not just spam the thread with pictures, it's equally important to remember that this is the Turian Fan Thread, but a thread discussing the possibility of Female Turians in ME3
