Yeah, the only reason that I said Krogan women don't fight is a conversation Wrex has with Ash on the citadel elevators, about how it's interesting that humans use their women as warriors, and how it "adds a different flavor to battle." or something like that. I think female Krogan are definitely capable of fighting, but I'm not sure whether they were ever regularly a part of aggressive combat. It could be that they always lived in their own camps, but fight primarily as vicious defenders rather than taking part in offense. Of course I'm just spitballing here.
I used to badly want a female Krogan on my squad, but switching Krogans for a third time feels odd. So FemTurian it is.
Well the krogan are a typical warmongering race. Their children are taught to fight and that is why they were such a threat. They are spacefaring Spartans of Greece that is (not that other game some people like to play). I think something Wrex said or the male rep on Tuchanka heavily implied their way of life pre-genophage IIRC.
I would assume female krogan were part of the Rachni conflicts. It's curious the genophage affect the males as well. I guess it makes males unable to achieve children as well since they all carry markers of it.
