I felt the same way after hearing about horses in Dragon Age, but never actually seeing them. I would have been satisfied seeing one or two just standing around in some kind of stable.

What the heck is that male turian doing with his face? Because I know what I think he's doing, but I'm kinda sure that I'm wrong. Or I hope that I'm wrong.
U gay or virgin?
Married and living in Noth Carolina, so not gay (not that there is anything wrong with that!). As for virgin. I don't think so, if I am I have to have a really long and diffucult talk with my wife.

That's one of the most forced explanations of Developer's lazines I have ever seen.
The only dumber one I can think of is
"There was no reason to make more explorable areas instead of copy pasting those few that we made".

Oh you, that's not true and you know it. The females of all species deserve representation in bioware games, be they turian, dwarf, krogan, or Salarian.

Then you go right away to your wife and give her a quick snuggle.

Maybe Bioware retcons them in ME3. They're all actually mono-gendered species (don't you dare to imagine two Krogans mating).

When drawing, I've been known to hide hands behind the character's back because they were being uncooperative.

That's because BioWare has the strangest aversion to visual fan input. People can moan about wanting LI's and they get what they want (Garrus and Tali), but when the devs are clearly at their wit's end on the matter of female aliens and they're served fan-made gems like a few of the examples dropped in this thread, then suddenly fan input no longer matters.armass wrote...
yeah i find it kinda strange that dev says "we have no idea how to make them", when deviant art for one is filled with tens of examples of pretty decent fan art of turian, salarian and even krogan female concepts.

I never got why DarkHorse went that way with female Turians. Realistically, if the Turians apparently live on a world where they had to develope natural protection against the radiation and whatnot, why is most of the female's skull exposed to that radiation? Unlike the males, who have reasonable protection to the top and back of their skull.
Just makes so little sense...
And how can the entire team not be able to make up a femal Turian that doesn't involve lipstick...? That sounds more like they're not taking it seriously and just screwing around; it certainly makes it sound like it. Look at the above image. All they have to do is make them more streamlined, noticely more slender/elegant/agile. How hard is it for a whole team to make something like that when one person did it alone?
I really hope they take some inspiration from fanwork, it's quite a bit better than DarkHorse.
