I hope this thread draws BioWare's attention.
I think they're are well aware of this, I mean why wouldn't they be. It's just that this is not top or even near top priority. Nobody here is not going to buy the game because of this.
It doesn't affect the gameplay nor story really and most people won't even think about this while gaming. It's like censorship: out of sight, out of mind. So bioware probably has ideas but want to put resources to other things.
Not that this kind of thread isn't a good thing. You never know...

Well, you know, making Garrus and Tali shaggable probably wasn't very high-priority, either.

MMMMM that's good anaphylactic shock.

I don't know about that. They just were suprised that people actually liked Garrus and Tali that much. So because they wanted to do lots of romance in ME2 so why not just do them instead of making new character.
Turian females though are harder to just "put in" the game. There lots of expectation for them, the future ME games to consider and so on. So they can't be put in just as "naturally" as Garrus or Tali romance.
At least that's how I see it.

Eh, whip up a character model, throw around a few NPCs, add a turian filter to some lines of chit-chat = COMPLETE.
I wouldn't mind something like that. Most likely people would get mad though. "eww gross" "they don't looke female!" "Is this male or female!? I'm confused!" or "these are not logical" " why did you put boobs bioware, why?" "I hate how sexy they are!"... etc.
In Garrus and Tali case you can just ignore and not go with the romance but the Turian Female will be forever.
Of course they can retcon in later but planning for retcon is never a good plan.

Well, you know, dealing with fanbase immaturity is half the fun. If they're ugly, it's a fun little counter to the asari. If they're sexy, hooray for fetish fuel!
How fun it might be I don't think bioware thinks like that.
Personally I would prefer them to be "ugly" and not "fetish fuel". Turian festish fuel actually sounds kind of scary, makes me think of tight leather suits and smelly basements.

It's not very related to it but I love that line where Liara says to Shep that Garrus is not JUST calibrating Normandy's guns.

I can just imagine now.
They make huge build up for some Turian female commander only to make her killed in distance and never seen again or huge building just crashing on her.

You know, with the recent announcement that there will be no new LIs in ME3... It makes me wonder how many new squaddies we'll be getting. So far, out of all five (six if you count BOTH Ash and Kaidan) confirmed team members, only one of them is new.

Don't talk like that. Need batarian squadmate. Too cool. Must..maintain...hope.
Oh yeah and heres my daily bump for femturian support. Bring on the flexibility.
