How fun it might be I don't think bioware thinks like that.

Personally I would prefer them to be "ugly" and not "fetish fuel". Turian festish fuel actually sounds kind of scary, makes me think of tight leather suits and smelly basements.

This thread is starting to get away from the topic. We should try and stay focused on the topic at hand and I really hope people keep posting awesome fan art (not including anything with a turian in a skirt!)

Belive me, I'm one of the tame ones.

But back to topic, female turians.

You know how quarians have different clothes depending on gender. How about doing something similar for turians, just to make it look more interesting and easier to tell them apart? Personaly I think the tall and slim turians would look great in long flowing clothes like robes or mantles. It would also go well with their roman style. A powerfull female turian politician in a imposing looking toga could look realy cool.

That would most definitely be awesome.  Kind of what I pictured, actually.

I don't think they'd wear skirts, though.  Those spurs would goof things up.  All turians must wear pants.

I dunno, I really like the idea of a society that's almost entirely gender-neutral.  No matter how far humanity goes in eliminating sexism, we'll always have this history of repressing an entire half of our species, and we'll always have to live with all the baggage that comes with that.  I like thinking that Turians have always operated with their gender-blind meritocracy thing.  I'm not even remotely implying that femininity is a bad thing or anything like that; it's just interesting to think of what a culture might look like if the gender binary had never been a consideration.

Basically what I'm saying is, if they're gonna introduce pretty clothes for Turians then the dudes should be wearing them too.  Peace out.

We need prettier clothes for turians in general (and less of those neon-colored pajamas).

Turians don't do pretty. Just because turian women might wear different clothes so you can tell them apart from the men, doesn't mean the clothes will be "pretty."

Yeah pretty doesn't feel very turian. That said for example a toga can look absolutely badass if done right. You can make good looking outfits for both genders that suits the turian style if you want to as proved by all the excelent fanart posted here.

Just please give our female turian LI squadmate a decent suit of armour in combat. No more stripperific fighting please...

2. Turians in skimpy clothing would break the universe.  It is wrong on so many levels.

I really hope that confirmation about no new LIs gets further confirmed later on. With the validity of PC Gamer's article thrown into question somewhat by Priestly's commenting on that thread in particular, it makes me feel like giving everything the article stated uniquely more of a 60% likelihood of truth to it.
