Honestly, every time I come back to this page and see that pic, I'm happy again. That is the most attractive Turian I have yet seen.

Sorry Garrus.

In that case you should go compliment the artist.  And dig the rest of her gallery, too (there are salarians).

And the character's creator while you're at it (there are turians).

CANNOT PROMOTE AWESOME FANART HARD ENOUGH.

Hey Admiral! I am absolutely LOVIN' this thread. We had BETTER see some female Turians in ME3, and they better have designs that are worth something, unlike that abomination in the comic Mass Effect: Evolution. UGH!

Thanks for the support!

And Dark Horse makes everything look horrible.

Throwing in my voice for support!
I always liked to pretend some of the background turians were female and humans just can't tell the difference, since we were told female turians were just as populous as males and their society is a meritocracy.
Then we got male quarians in ME2 and I raged a little inside... because going into a room full of aliens which possess two sexes and not seeing any men would be weird.
Don't even get me started on the 'put lipstick on it' comment uuugh. Maybe we should have just drawn a mustache on Tali's model for male quarians?

I did some female turian sketches myself a while ago over on my devianart

Indeed.  Blatant hypocrisy with the quarian thing.  Not including female turians would be wussing out to the highest degree.  But nooo, you can't have a female character in a video game unless she's all purdy and stuff with bewbies.

Grow up, guys.  Grow up.

Those are really nice, Rei.  Gonna go troll your gallery if you don't mind ;3

^This^ All the way! B)

By the way, I took a look at this pic of a fan made female Turian drawing, http://fc06.devianta...Pomponorium.jpg ,and was mildly disturbed at the fact I found it attractive. WTF, over? Oy. It's official: Mass Effect has warped my mind.

No offense, CARL_DF90, but the one you fellas keep linking and calling "attractive" is actually my least favorite.

ANYWAY, moar pics!

Here is proof that the Dark Horse concept isn't so bad IF DRAWN WELL.

Here is just the cutest goshdarn thing you ever did see.

And here is a turian couple getting awfully close to being NSFW.

Meh. No offense taken. :) I checked out the others and they weren't too bad at all. Need more to show off to Bioware!

It just occurs to me that it's not just the design of Turian females that Bioware should be concerned about, but also animations, movements, and body language as well. That way, you'll have more than just the voice to be about to tell that it is a Turian female. It would be a way for someone to tell immediately.

To be honest, I'd say the voice and body language are way more important than the design.  Imagine it--a turian lady with a swing in her hips and a voice that'll make you melt...  There'd be a lot of confused fanboys going, "WHY IS IT SEXY I DON'T UNDERSTAND HER BODY IS NOT APPEALING AND YET I WANTS IT?!"

It's all attitude, baby.

Also, this made me lol.

So this sort of reaction?

Better pic by the way, I won't mind so much female Turians lacking "combs" or whatever if there's some kind of actual plating on their fricking skull. I don't like the super long fringes since I assume longer fringe equates more Turian manliness. Female Turian "combs" should curve inward so they almost meet together at the back of the skull. But that's just my take.

Good to see this thread hasn't died.

I'm still kinda partial to one armass originally linked (don't know about the added jewelry in the upper-left headshot though)

Here's a gallery that includes other female ME alien concepts, the artist's name is Asurael-Returns.

There's really no excuse to not include female turians in ME3, other than time, budget or space.

Yes this is a possible, and entertaining, scenario. I mean just look at Garrus...

Wouldn't be surprised, since they're roughly avian.

External genitalia were an evolutionary derp anyway.
