So I think they have enough time.
Seeing a Female Turian scout will be awesome!
but going back to the DLC thing... knowing bioware.. I think they are going to take that route considering they keep asking for money >A<

I think we have every right to at least have one female Turian crew member once this game comes out.
And considering the Mass Effect 3 Beta (For both SP & and MP) has been confirmed for this coming January. Hopefully we can see how playing as a Turian will play out

Bioware usually likes to surprise us with things like that. I think the races in MP will either be class-locked, or only for cosmetic purposes depending on what race people like.
I will have to agree with you.
What you say is true.. Bioware always suprised us. When they were marketing Legion, I swear I thought he was the new bad ass enemy.
But once i got the game. I found out otherwise and it just made it more interesting.
So the theory of Bioware keeping this type of information secret is no suprise. I never even knew they were going to show Male Quarians!

I thought of that a few months ago
Garrus: It's true you don't see many turian women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for turian men.
Wrex: [whispering to Tali] It's the fringes.
Garrus: And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no turian women, and that turians just spring out of air vents in the Citadel!
[Tali laughs]
Garrus: Which is, of course, ridiculous.

I think the problem stems from character models. You see, if you pair up Garrus with Tali and stand them side-by-side (for full effect, get them on an elevator...it shouldn't be hard), you see what could be the problem. I think it's that Bioware created the character models for turian females. They just happened to give it to the quarrians. To me, it's pretty apparent looking at the two; switch Tali's head model to a turian's, or obscure Garrus' head, and adjust the scale of them, and the body models look just about identical.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say that female turians were in mind, but when it came time to put the quarrians together, the body models weren't working too well, and decided to change out what they were working with to the female turian's body, which wasn't getting much (if any) use at the time.

What? Do I have to pay extra for something that should have been there in the first place? Well.... Fine... It is worth it...CARL_DF90 wrote...
Well, if Turian women aren't given their due in the main game in ME3, then there's always DLC story packs.

Didn't they also say that he would be important to the story?

It was weird to see no female turians in either game. We know they exist and they have no lore reasons to not be around. Let's see some female turians in ME3, Bioware! Please?Bluko wrote...

I also love female dwarves (see icon, of my first female Gray Warden). The lack of female dwarves in DA2 was downright bizarre. It seems odd to me that only really alien-looking aliens you can romance in ME2 are male. (Well, Tali MIGHT be really alien-looking, but we really have no idea what her face looks like and her curves are certainly not all that different from a human's.)
I'd also love a salarian romance option, but I'll readily admit that I have a humongous crush on Mordin XD I don't care if they have cloacae -- I'd be fine with cuddling = )

I hope they don't look exactly how they were portrayed in the comic. The female Turians in that one just look... Off for some reason.
The Comic version of Female Turians is only "one" concept we have seen thus far.
Bioware still has a lot of time to improve as well see the fan art people have made for Females.
You go on Deviant art and you will see some great ideas and theories on what females turians may look like.
But in the end, I would really like to see a new female turian crew member on our team.
Giving more diversitty when fighting the Reapers.
And a chance to understand their Culture more.

A Salarian romance option will be a great idea to think about...
But to see female Salarians will be even greater!!
I guess this really all depends... We don't just want to see Female Turians!
We want To see "ALL" the Female Aliens.
(Not including Asari)
Not only for romance but for learning about their cutlure and anatomy...

And yeah, I remember seeing the interview with the lipstick comment way back, and I remember being a little disheartened. As a 3D modeler myself, it felt a little callous. Which is surprising, coming from Bioware. I have great respect for their design team. Here's hoping it was a simple shrug-off to keep thnigs a surprise, but I have to admit I'm not entirely hopeful.
