I absoloutely hate that all female aliens have feminine features, that are considered attractive by male humans. They're teh god darn aliens, don't make them feminine. Only mammals have females which are physically not as capable as males.

This.

I want females which are about as goddarned ugly as the human eye can behold without melting away which let's the player wonder why apparently every single alien in the room gets the hot for that ugly thing.

Sure, just make that the vorcha or krogan or something.

I, as a mid-twenties year old straight female gamer with no interest in ****** to female aliens, would like for female turians to at least be aesthetically pleasing on some level while being recognizably turian. No breasts, no lipstick. You can feminize a creature without resorting to mammalian traits and cosmetics. It's all in the build and proportions.

I wanted a female turian squaddie in ME3. Hell I'd have pushed for her to be a LI like Garrus.

Then Dark Horse comics showed me one. Now I don't care. The over-exaggerated head fringe which so many people (like me) had their hearts set on never came to be. They aren't even slimmer built or anything. They look like ugly versions of the males.

I've given up on female turians. Shame really. Maybe ME3 will surprise me by scrapping the DH version and coming of with their own (I can hope anyway).

Yes, but I want them with head fringe. I hate the fringe-less version.

They have fringes.  Their fringes just aren't the same as the males'.

To be more specific then I don't want them having the incredibly short fringe they do now.

This is the thing, really... I think most people had it in their heads that the female fringe was supposed to look the same as the male one, mainly because of what the bachelor party turian said - to paraphrase, "Asari look most like turians because of the head fringe".  He never said HOW they looked similar - but obviously everyone assumed that he was referring to the length of the asari fringe, rather than any other quality (e.g. the way the asari fringe curve upward at the tips), simply because that was the main similarity anyone could see between the male turian fringe and the asari one; no one thought to consider that perhaps it was a more subtle similarity that is incidental to a human, but prominent to a turian.  For one thing, the turian and salarian failed to see the how the asari body is identical to the human body.  Identical.  If they can't see that similarity, I think it's safe to assume that the similarity between the female turian fringe and the asari fringe is tenuous to us.  Which could be due to asari mind control or a difference in the way the visual cortex works for different species or any number of other things.  The fact is, different species, for whatever reason, don't see these similarities between their species and the asari the same way as each other.

I can understand Bioware being uncertain about alien females - I can't think of any other game in which you can have aliens as "unconventional" as Turians and Krogan in your party. So doing something like that represented a substantial risk. Then, when it was clear that the aliens were popular, they had to scramble to decide how to handle the females... if females looked identical to males, why didn't we meet any females in ME1?

I genuinely think they got trapped by overthinking this, and that's why they never committed to representing female aliens in a certain way. They could have easily made at least one race have identical males and females, and nobody would have batted an eye... in fact, players theorized that the Salarian councilor might be female for a while, before Bioware cleared it up.

So I'm guessing they feel trapped now... if they make Turian females look too similar to Turian males, people might say "Well then why didn't you just have them around in ME1, if they were going to look the same?"

Basically, I want to say that I don't care what they look like. Just give us a female Turian. I will be satisfied as long as it looks like something that could concievably be of the same species as a male Turian.

(Also I want female Salarians, and I want them to be larger and more aggressive than the males. However, I don't think I'll ever get that. /sad)

U gay or virgin?

He is the one with the basic sense of anatomy.
Turians have exoskeleton.

No one knows if they have erogenous zones there. They very well might.

I really hope we see a tuarin female in ME3. I don't even care if they look exactly like the males, they don't need to be attractive. At least with the krogans and Salarian there is an excuse. There is no excuse for the turians.

They don't HAVE to change it, actually--Dark Horse just can't draw aliens.

However, if female turians are confirmed by a dev or shown in an article/trailer, I will pre-order the collector's edition as soon as possible.  Because, to be honest, that's the only thing missing from my ME3 wishlist besides better customization options for Shepard's face.  Everything else--returning squadmates, more options for weaponry and powers, alien homeworlds, et cetera--has been confirmed.

I hope not - the DH stuff doesn't seem to be inconsistent with the lore; changing the female turian design for the game instead of explaining why their look is perfectly consistent WOULD create an inconsistency.  I want the number of inconsistencies between the games and supplemental material to be as minimal as possible... :(

I support supportative waists.
;)

Seriously Bioware you need to add Female Turians in ME3. There's just no excuse, and if you don't folks is going to assume you were simply "lazy" again and I'd say rightly so. I mean come on if you can make Male Quarians, why can't you make Female Turians? I don't care if the Female Turians look like the Dark Horse Comic variants, they need to be in ME3. Especially since we'll most likely be visiting actual Turian worlds. There is no excuse for their lack of presence anymore. None. Zip. Nadda.

That said I do prefer most of the fan concepts over the Dark Horse comic versions so far. From what little we know I'd say the Fan Art has been more accurate for actual depictions.

Personally, I wanted female turians to have longer head fringes than males, with coloration changes and such.

Now, I don't mean THAT much longer, but a little longer would be nice.

Also, it'd be nice to see something akin to plumage on them.

I support this noble cause. Would love to see female salarians and krogan too. There are not many, but they are really important for their species, I think we deserve to see some of it too.

Maybe I'm stubborn, but I would rather not see them at all than the current Dark Horse version. Even when you factor in that DH drew them, you can't polish a turd.

I don't see why it's so hard.

Take the male version, make the smaller and more lean. in every area. Put some hips if your into that stuff.

BAM female.
