Why would the Females have plumage and not the males? Nearly in every species the Males are the more colorful for the need to attract a mateLPPrince wrote...
Personally, I wanted female turians to have longer head fringes than males, with coloration changes and such.
Now, I don't mean THAT much longer, but a little longer would be nice.
Also, it'd be nice to see something akin to plumage on them.

Okay, that was unnecessary, but sometimes I can't help myself.

You said it yourself- Nearly.
Plus, they're aliens. So something out of the ordinary is to be expected.

I don't see why it's so hard.
Take the male version, make the smaller and more lean. in every area. Put some hips if your into that stuff.
BAM female.
Or! Just use the DH version in the game!

And no, they don't have to be "pretty". In fact, I would much rather they weren't designed to appeal to pubescent males' idea of shagworthyness.

What's the orginal final design then? And when was it confirmed that that iteration of the turian design was the final solution?
I didn't really care much for the comics, but as far as anatomical accuracy goes, the turians in the DH comics pretty much looked bang on correct - save for the odd lack of face tattoos :/ The only DH picture I've seen which looked wrong was that one image of flat-faced Wrex.

If I had to speculate? I'd say it would be logical for them to have fringe similar to, but shorter than male fringe. I'm thinking this since they're loosely avian and most male birds are typically 'showier' in regards to crests and colors. However, it has been mentioned that the fringe does have a practical, protective function, and if that's the case I'd expect the females to still have an appreciable amount.
...Double points if the female turians voice opinions on how 'pretty' or 'not pretty' the males are. Heh.

I meant that I want Bioware to develop what they feel is an accurate representation of Turian females - not Darkhorse. If Bioware approves of the design, then fine.
I still don't though.

I thought the DH version was approved by Bioware...
I'm perfectly happy with it. I'm glad that, apart from the fringes, they look the same - they're supposed to be just as hardened and militarised as the men, plus it's usually very difficult to tell males and females apart.
