He's not saying Garrus is a bird; the point is that, in nature, it's not odd when the males are prettier.  On the same note, it's not odd when the males look pretty much the same as the females, either.

hat's not what Im implying at all. All Im saying is that Turian females look butt ugly and could have been done better. Im not saying they have to all look like Asari, just that a little more work should have gone into them.

That implies all female looking things should be "fappable" to. That's not the case. Something should be able to be visibly female without any attraction being formed on our part.

Personally, I'd prefer female turians to look female(as far as turians are concerned).

If the DH version is the legitimate female version, then LOLWUT. Cause "she" looks more masculine than the male turians I've seen.

As far as her face is concerned, that is.

No, yourself, because my preference is based on an understanding of turians, whereas yours is based on that tingly feeling in your -- Oh nevermind - I'll just quote what I said further up:

In my less than humble opinion they ought to scrap the DH design also for the added benefit of disavowing the DH stuff entirely.

I really don't understand why people have such an issue with this, as it falls in line with the 'avian' thing. I.E. males being "prettier" than females.

But I really really do like some of that fanart better, and I don't care really as long as we see ONE at least in ME3.

They're not really avian, as that would imply they share a common ancestor with us, rather than evolving entirely seperately. Their design is loosely based on birds, though - but that doesn't mean that their design has to strictly adhere to any particular species of bird.

EDIT: Having said that, showing those pictures is a good way to illustrate how, in nature, it is sometimes the males who are the prettier sex of a species.  At the same time, it's worth noting that often it's hard to tell, visually, the difference between the male and female of a species.
