I wasn't even done with the act one quests and it skipped me past the deep roads to act 2.
I never even got a chance to go to the deep roads.
It's happened twice now on different characters.
plus it automatically went to the cutscene where Bethany went to the circle.

um no it's not I missed recruiting some party members most of act 1 quests are unfinished and bethany is in the circle.
Since the glitch skipped the deep roads I couldn't take her.

and if i reload it does the same thing everytime i try to finish wayward son.

Why are you posting this in the strategy section? And why are you being upset at people posting in your thread? If you want help with this problem try posting it in the proper part of the forums simple as that.

thats pretty funny. can you still play with bethany/carver in your group since the deep roads didnt happen?

Juggle saves before starting wayward son. Do the companion quests before starting wayward son so if this bug is inescapable, the damage done by it is reduced. Try doing the quests in a different order. If you can't go back a save, start a new game from scratch (since you're not that far into it.) Do as many quests as possible before doing wayward son. Uninstall and reinstall the game.

I'm out of ideas. This bug is hilarious.

I've never heard about this bug.

Please list the mods you have installed (check your /override folder). Also, try to remember whether you have used the console scripts.

Better still...PC's are going the way of the Dinosaur, in a decade there will be no "computer" games, unless you want a PSP style on your pocket computer...SO...get a PS3 OR an X-Box. The PC game looks and plays like shyt and 90% of game glitches are on even the best Alienware machines. That's a DREADFUL game glitch and it's just another example of PC Gaming being stupid. (Unlike a decade ago...) Ok here comes the wrath, but mark my words, your PC will soon fit in your pocket. Why do you think BioWare has the game nearly glitch-free on so many consoles? Durrrrrrr....LOL. You people are far too serious!!! Go back and play with your toolsets.

p.s I'll brag: 3 Playthroughs, all characters level 50, fastest Nightmare kills ever, invincible defenses, instant Hawke kills, and I don't need gimpy tools or Mods...just my wolf-howling 360. Oh yeah, even mages have 100% hit and over 6,000 defense. Hmmm what's that Arishok? Took 5 hits, DEAD. STFU.

I might destroy your dream but console games are becoming low-budget productions (with DA2 as quite fitting example). All flows towards online games where companies make real $$ and i have not heard about consoles dominating online play yet. At most you an expet future consoles to try to emulate PC functionality even more. But i wonder how it will least with lower initial cost but higher game cost and unability to improve your machine.

as for subject - you moded game in some way or you are the most unlucky person in the world. eitherway try loading ealier save and finsihing the quest / reinstalling the game/ start new play and rush for the quest and see if the bug persists.

If I have to place a bet it is a problem of a mod you have since nobody else ever reported nothing similar.

If you don't tell what mods you have installed it is difficult anybody can find a solution.
