This quest in awakening was awesome! =D i always looked foward to it in a replay of the game and was thinking with Hawke in the free marches with his Title(s) we should have more quests like this acting judgement upon those who have commited crimes and determining their fates. That would be awesome

I'd imagine that only if Hawke became Viscount (by siding with the templars against the mages)would this happen.

Yeah i guess that would make it quite difficult to implement, The Champion would have a large amount of political influance they could make it so many of the free marches leaders died in the Templar Mage war and have the people call for Hawke to become their temporary leader. Make an expansion pack based around unifying some of the free marches states and have Hawke governing them with quests like this... Starting to sound a bit like the Arthurian legend here though lol

I was originally hoping that Hawke would be proactive and be able to unify the Free Marches under one banner, like the Warden Garahel seemed to during the Fourth Blight when facing the Archdemon Andoral.

Hey me to! =D but alas that would be to awesome, the closest we can come to that is unifying Starkhaven and Kirkwall... but that involves romancing Sebastian.... I hate that guy, plus the whole my hawke being a male and straight and same applying to Sebastian doesn't really help either
