Who's settling?  Intimacy can be more rewarding than sex from an emotional standpoint; and sure real men have emotions ... they're those things we keep locked away until we need them to get us laid.  

Seriously, though, if the game could do imtimacy well, the quality of sex scenes would be better by association.

Um, no. The big complaint about the dialogue wheel people had was that it was too ambiguous and you didn't always know what you were choosing. Bioware fixed it, and now people say it's too easy. ugh.

Anyway I love the romances in Bioware games, dating back to Baldur's Gate 2. I think it's a great idea. I just wish they'd be a little more bold and show a little more skin. If CD Projekt can get away with it, I don't see why Bioware can't. It's not like Polish-made games get a free pass by the ESRB in the U.S.

I mean, if Fox News is going to erroneously accuse you of having hardcore lesbian pornography in the game (Mass Effect) anyway, you may as well actually have it.

 I'm happy with the way romances were handled in DA2, both in terms of quantity (2 guys and 2 girls seems good enough), choice (being able to romance them all with both genders is great) and depth (there was certainly more to the romances than in DA:O or the ME series).

As for the sex itself. Well, DAO was a bit too much, but I'd say DA2 was probably too little. Something a bit more like the ME2 scenes would probably be ideal. That said that's the ONLY thing I want from the ME romances in DA. Because they seriously don't compare at all, DA's are miles better.
