They don't have to show anything but they need to stop being lazy and at least lett he characters be under the covers or something rather than completely clothed.

Also, why does Merril have to have the same exact body as one og the elves from the Rose but only when she is out of her armor. Why is the body skin slightly different color than her face (a little more grey).

Bioware needs to grow a pair and go back to the way ME1 handled it. Why not show some skin, Bioware seems more than happy to seel sexuality in every other way, is more than happy to have their characters swear and talk about sex all the time but their bollocks are oddly absent when it comes to showing a little skin.

I think this is the influence of the American parent company. Bioware is a Canadian company, or was.

I can understand them not wanting to make softcore virual porn, not that there is not money to be made on that,  but its a mature title where they show exploding body parts, but have to have the characters walk around in medieval undies? Did pesants really wear underwear? My understanding was that they could barely afford food and clothes.

Also, you can pay for sex at a brothel, but it fades to black? I want my gold back !

No, I don't want more sex in the game. There are "adult" games out there who need to get their sex through pixels on a screen.

Perhaps not more sex per se, but maybe a longer, more meaningful encounter would suffice.

More romance, more knowing glances, smoldering looks...a slow burn.  But then, that's coming from a woman. As my best friend always says, "women are like crockpots, whereas men are like microwaves".

All of this would really enhance the romances IMO. I don't think women are the only ones that can appreciate this sort of thing though. Why can't we have this kind of stuff and a little more skin too? I don't think they are mutually exclusive.

I way prefered the fade to black element in this game, then the weird pictures in DA:O - especially Zevran, it seemed more like numerous poses in your underwear then sex, even Alistair's, which I would have said was best as a push, was more embarassing then erotic.

I'd rather just fade then have that.
I like the kisses, and I think the kisses should stay, and then fade to black. The kisses in DA:2 are better I think - there's so much more passion in them, and I think they're really cute. True - a shot of Anders with his shirt off might have been nice, but I didn't want awkward weird underwear poses, so meh.

But the romance does need some work. I thought all the dialouge though needed some work compared to DA:O, there didn't seem to be nearly as much chance to talk, to get to know them, where they came from, at your own freedom. DA:O, judging by the timeline of DA:2, took roughly a year or so - which meant that during just a year with the constant threat of darkspawn, you still got loads of chance to talk and get to know them. On the other hand, for a decade really in Kirkwall, you have a hand full of conversations.


A note on the way they all want to get with you - surely that's no less realistic then everyone being unable to solve their own problems without Hawke's assistance? Maybe its all down to something in the water C:

No, I don't want more but I want it done better. The ridiculous PG13 stuff we've seen in ME2 and DA2 has to go.

3 things for sex scenes: 1) People get naked to have sex. 2) Women have breasts. 3) People generally don't stay silent during.

If BioWare can manage to own up to those three factors, we can discuss implementation.

I'm for showing more ONLY if it can be used to tell a story about the characters, but I think storytelling is easier with foreplay and the afterglow. The wild foreplay and disarming of Isabella is one such scene and the aftermath scene with Merrill is another. I don't need to see a bunch of awkward polygon grinding unless it actually contributes to the story. I would rather fade to black than watch male Shepard dry hump Jack into submission, though you could argue that her crying contributed to her characterization.

But seriously the Origins ones were HORRIBLE. Dry humping in granny panties with male skeletons for the females, made me want to vomit. Luckily there are mods available that make TW2's sex scenes look like child's play

I suggest doing the sex scenes in a tasteful silhouette. Use lighting to cover up the naughty bits and some creative camera angles to add a little pizazz.
