I really liked Javarris Tintop, business man, entrepaneur and had some funny lines (especially after you have killed hid guards and he goes to looting them.)  I felt bad murder knifing him on one play through.  I let him go on all the other ones.

Googly eyed dwarf in the meet Fenris quest.  (I can't recall his name.)  Poor guy was scared of his own shadow.

Hubert:  Slimey mine owner and unehtical businessman.  Got a good chuckle out of me when my Hawke insisted to be paid upfront and he says he had extra money lying around that he was going to use for mine safety.

Samsom, the reformed Templar/lyrium addict.  I always recommend that he be let back into the Templars but this last time I sold him out (and felt bad for doing it.)

There weren't as many interesting anciliary characters in DA2 as there were in DA:O, sadly.  If I had to pick ones I liked, it'd be the Talkative Man in the Hanged Man, Ketojan, Alain, Ella, and Athenril.

Yay!  I'm not the only one who enjoyed Hubert.  That slimy bastard was so, so, so much fun.

Maraas -- I really liked the twice-traitorous qunari who realized that living was far better when it wasn't for a specific purpose. 

Ella was adorable. 

Jethann-- I wanted more of Jethann.  A lot more.

Athenril was fun.

I also loved Anso, the Bait and Switch dwarf, and I wanted to recruit Worthy.

Ah yes Marass, I liked him a lot. One of the only Qunari or former qunari that actually spoke plainly and without deception.

Worthy is underused by me in each game because once I get my home I hardly ever talk to him.

Amazingly enough before I opened this thread again and saw your name I said the same thing "Is this the same Pausanias of old?"

Solivitus; he has an awesome voice and he was nice enough to make an awesome accessory for Hawke for free. Ketojan left a lasting impression and even though it was sad, I really liked how his story ended up. Athenril was also awesome; she was so laid-back and cool, and her voice was just icing on the cake

Arvaarad for his awesome dialogue and fanaticism.
Mother Petrice for her cunning and evil schemes.
Hubert for having the second best accent in the game and being a pretty cool character all-around.
Jethann because his dialogue is hilarious ("We had him thrown out.").

Honorable mention to Vincento (best accent in the game) and Feynriel's mother (forgot her name). That's such an awesome story...
