Tie between Krogan because they're Mandalorian dinosaurs in SPAAAAAACE! Quarians because Tali and Reeger are awesome, and Geth because Legion is the most adorable robot ever.

Elcor: speech is hilarous, I could listen to this all day. Hope there are more of them in ME3.
Turians: greatest tendency for badassery.
Vorcha: they're so ugly and vile... it's hilarious. Making pyros explode, hearing evil laughs during combat, others going all like "IM BLEEDIN!!!" when you shoot them. Gotta love it.
Salarians: just like them, don't know why. How can you not?
Krogan: gotta love the "beast of war" types.
Varren: they're like puppies how they run at you with their mouths wide open, tongue hanging out. I hate having to kill them. =[
Batarians: I'm a sympathizer, I think they are pretty interesting.
Volus: these little dudes crack me up.
Do not like --
Asari: they tend to be stuck-up, their looks are overrated, their "goddess" crap is annoying.
Hanar: most pointless species. Their speech is lame. Fascination with Blasto makes it even worse.

Humans obviously.
Then turians because they're kind of like Spartans.

i would also have to add batarians, rachni, reapers and vorcha to my list. im not too fond of playing as a human though :/ lets face it... ive been and will always be a human for the rest of my life, i like to role play as a different race and say HOLY S*** THATS ME!!!!!!!!!!! but Krogan overall because theyre one of the strongest and most war-like and feared races in ME. i just love their hostility and when they finally "accept" you as a peer feels so rewarding.

The Krogan because.... well, because every single one of them is hilarious. When I think of my favorite ME quotables, it's almost all something a Krogan said.

TURIANS Because....
- They somehow remind me to ancient Greeks and Romans
- Because of their discipline
- Because of their balance between individual freedom and collective responsability
- Because of their compromise with their society
- Because in their goverment is based on meritocracy
Asari, because...
- Their cultural level
- Have something like a "godess appeal"
- Seem quite reasonable.

I like turians because of their Spartan nature, but the most interesting race is the geth,by far. During conversations with Tali and Legion I was, like,WOW all the time.

I really like the Turians, Salarians, and Asari, though I'm really not sure which is my favorite.
I really like the Asari from a cultural (except for inverse racism and ageism) standpoint, as well as the natural biotics and long life-span. Still, they are a very...inactive species.
Turians are like the qausi-Israelis of space, with some Spartan and Japanese flavor thrown in as well. Though they apparently have horrible art. I really like the culture.

Geth, because, well, like, they were bad guys in the first game, and then they're like good guys, and then it's like OMGWTFBBQ???!!11
Seriously, I find the Geth philosophy and culture fascinating. I also like the Elcor, because they're speech is awesome, and the Volus, because they don't tend to do or say much stuff that doesnt crack me up.

Quarians: Love the background info.
Geth: same as the quarians
Salarians: I think they're cute :3
dislike
Asari- Lame, lame, lame. In a setting full of interesting and cool looking aliens we get blue chicks with goofy looking head gear.

I don't hate anything about ME, except maybe the priiiize...(I do like Jacob, just don't like the priiiiize)
Anyway, my most liked species would be
Salarians: Mordin Solus, need I say more?
Volus: those dudes crack me up
Hanar: I'm generally interested in them, especially their politeness.
Drell: If my canon Shepard wasn't in love with Kaidan, next choice would have been Thane...seriously!

Asari - Vast amounts of experience and knowledge is something that I find appealing...and Liara/Shiala
Volus - Because size isn't everything...
Rachni - very "alien"

The Reapers because like Sovereign said their existence is a litle difficult to grasp, "live" for millions of years, have the perception of a super powerfull AI, see hundreds of different civilizations rise and fall I find that kind of existence interesting.

The turians are just the embodiment of (slightly pompous) badassery. Dat fringe, dem voices, dem big ol' dreadnoughts.

I'm going to leave humans out of it for a while. While I like humans, I'm not too fond of either Cerberus or the Alliance. In order, my favorite races are:
Salarians - my favorite. A race of super intelligent hyperactive science nerds? I want to go to there. Also, a bunch of them are super spies. Very yes.
Geth - I like their whole vibe. Good compromise between "robots want to kill us all!" and "robots are better than everyone!"
Hanar - I like the Hanar because they managed to beat bipedal humanoidism. I mean sure, so did the Elcor and the Rachni, but they didn't do it in STYLE like the Hanar did.
Elcor - "Did you hack your translator so you can control your kinetic language processing?" "With a sincerity such that skepticism would be deeply insulting: no."
Turians - I don't have the same reverence for the Hierarchy that some people here do, but Turians managed to produce Nihlus, Garrus, and Lorik Qui'in, so they have to be doing something right.
Krogans - Wrex and Grunt are awesome, and there are some pretty interesting conversations you can overhear on Tuchanka that show that the Krogan are more than meets the eye. That said, I get the feeling that Wrex and Grunt are both exceptional, and that the Krogan as a whole are probably too dangerous to be returned to full strength. Still, it will be interesting to see if Wrex's social engineering bears fruit.
Quarians - Tali and Kal'Reegar are both awesome, and the idea of the Pilgrimage is pretty sweet. I like space gypsies.
After that everyone pretty much falls into a pack, in roughly this order: Drell, Rachni, Asari, VI aliens, Volus, Batarians. That's everybody I can think of, without looking at a list.

Turians, I don't know why. I just like their fringes and their scaly skin a lot. I also like that they are so militaristic and that they believe in teamwork so much.Their voices and their eyes are also very cool. Then there's also the tattoos, I like it that they try to distinguish from which planet they came from by painting their faces.
