My friends and I play DA while on vent. We have fun adding to the players comments.

My favorite is:

"Now I'll show you why people fear mages...!"  - Anders

To which I add:

"Anders, put your robe back on please.." - Hawke

Anyone else wish they could expand and add more comments?

I wish DA2 were more like DAO in that matter. In DAO you could speak to your companions every time you wanted (although it was silly if there were no more dialogue lines), you'd most likely speak to them after certain mayor events, and after certain gifts that held a lot of meaning for them. Then, depending on the aproval you could have more conversations with them. In DA2 we get like 4 oportunities to talk to each companion, and we don't get much information about them either. And it's so infuriating having to wait to another act to be able to get something else rather than "I'm here for you" or something of the sort every time you want to know something of a companion.

So, yes, I wish the writers had expanded on the characters, made some more interesting and deep stories, and all, like in DAO. May be that way the characters wouldn't have been so boring and hard to identify with (except Anders, he is the best character written in the series, and pretty awesome too).

At last, the writers left way too much to the imagination in DA2. Thus, I read fanfiction. Many funny comments, dialogs and interesting stories there (if the fanfic author is any good).
