I have seen a few thread about this in other forums but I wanted to know if anyone else has got this problem or if there is a fix.
This stutter of minor frame skip occurs only during duialogues, never during gameplay.Sound is OK, got the latest drivers, tried older...same thing. The only thing I can think of is the Hdd may be?
AMD Phenom II x 4 3.2 Ghz
XFX HD 5770 1gb
4 gigs of Ram
Win 7(although it happened with XP too)
Doesn't happen with any other games except ME1 and 2,in ME1 is less noticeable but it's there.ç
Thanks

What happens when you shut down absolutely everything else (Clean Boot), and then test the game?

Same thing, sometimes it's more noticeable than other times but it generally happens. And I have noticed that in some cases it's not even random in some cases these skips happen at the exact same moment...weird...not a game killer but surely annoying
By the way Temps are fine
and it's only during conversations!Never in game or in cutscenes

Have you considered getting a dedicated audio processing system with all decoding included thereon?

Not really you think the onboard system is causing the skips in video, the sound aspect of the dialogue works perfectly it's the video that skips...but the strange thing is that I don't remember this happening with my 9800gt...

That does make me wonder if you've tried re-installing. If it somehow is an HDD issue, maybe you could shake things up that way.

I did one, I changed my PC recently so it's not that...or xp or win7 because it happened before...
