just wondering if anyone has made or is working on a mod to let you use your Mabari in DAO like you do in DA2?

I rarely used the dog in the first game but love having him around in the second

use as in 'summon the dog but not have it take up a party member slot'?

yes, there's the 'extra dog slot' mod on the nexus.
