Can a warrior weilding a sword & shield use Two-Handed abilities?

from what i remember i think for a warrior hawke it's possible to take advantage of the sunder passive but anything which says 2h required (e.g. giant's reach) will probably not work :/
it's sort of fair though- 2h doesn't have any CCCs with disorient. So depending on what party you use you may want to use different warriors..

There is no way for Aveline to complete a Brittle combo besides the Vanguard tree, and to be honest its not a very good Brittle combo. But she makes up for that my being arguably the best Stagger dish-er-outer in the game.
Varric, Carver, and Fenris are going to be ur go to people for Brittle combos.

Oh no! I just updated that cross-class combo article the other day to put it into tables rather than a list. I'll add the Cleave combo. And you're right, a stun is pretty weak as far as combos go. And Shield Bash is a pretty great way to Stagger cheaply and often.
