Actually, I wouldn't quote things from DA2 itself, but from the marketing for it. Button = Awesome!

Well alright. There's this: "I like big boats, I cannot lie"Posted Image

And "How about I shove a canary up your coal mine?"  Good ol' Aveline.  ^_^

"I'd like some salamanders, please!"

For the record, I enjoyed AND was disappointed by DA2. But one group bothered me more than anything. The people of Kirkwall. Who... the... hell... puts... TORN TROUSERS... in a "master" locked chest? The non-stop slaver attacks and abomination parties are completely understandable in VG RPGs, but what's up with the "valuable" torn trousers!?

Oh, and don't forget Varric's battle cry, "How about a shot in the face!" No wonder Bioware removed him as a possible love interest.

What's most upsetting about DAII?  There's no Bruce Campbell in it.  Same thing that is upsetting about DA:O and DA:A.

Seriously, the guy is the whole acting package -- he's done it all: horror, comedy, action, and serious stuff.  Who could forget his take on elderly Elvis in Bubba-Hotep? It made me weep when I saw his reaction to the death of his buddy, Black President Kennedy.  Now that's talent (and I am so not kidding at all on this).

Bioware, please take note!

Very good list, especially THAT CAVE...I agree with everything, even sadly the "I'm playing it again" point.

I'll see your list and raise you Zevran's face. :police:

Zevran goes back to Antiva to discover how amazing awesome his father was and that he is still alive... VA by Bruce Campbell! With Antivan accent!

OMG this! While you ask who?
I want to know to know why?

Second thought...no, I don't.

Note: I usually ended up leaving them where I found it since I found it a little disturbing to say the least.

I have a "torn trousers" game I now play on ALL my play-throughs (I got nothing else to do in the hospital, dammit, leave me alone). Look for, but don't sell, any torn trousers you can find. At the end of the game, count how many you have. My personal best is my pro-Chantry assassin with 37 pairs, but my mage only found 22.

The father, of course, is a mage, with a staff that he calls his "boomstick."  Posted Image

Seriously, my dislike for DA2 would of been lessened if Bruce Campbell did major VA work on it.

"Clatto Verata N... Necktie... Neckturn... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word! Clatto... Verata... N- *coughs*"

How Bruce Campbell didn't win an Emmy for "Jack of All Trades" is beyond me.

Bruce Campbell. Man. That's a thread by itself: "What DA character could Bruce Campbell be?" My guess would be a slightly overweight dwarf with a penchant for experimental weapons and really awesome one-liners. And a hand replaced by a really nasty knife containing a demon's soul.

You know, Flemeth is a shape-shifter. Maybe Bruce could be Flemeth for a DLC or two.

I have not have any major problem with ANY Biowares games. All games has some problems and issues, because nothing is ever perfect. So, nothing game related really upsets me.

I can't really write my opinion here, because it would break forum rules...

Or perhaps someone who is equal to Flemeth in power but clashes in personality with her. And he'd be bored enough that he decides to come along as your companion.

Really I'd just want him as a companion just to hear his banter. :P

none of those issues annoy me that much but the non interactive doors in various missions with the map making you think there's a path and the locking ui is pretty annoying, other than that i'm quite enjoying the game

The bugs. It's like they did no QA whatsoever. I had to restart the game several times due to broken quests, companions and encounters. Unacceptable.

The absolute lack of meaningful choices. I mean, come on.

The gameplay. There isn't much room for strategy when enemies spawn out of thin air 24/7.

Sounds like one hand (and one cookie jar) away from Varric. Who, Bruce would have been a near perfect vocal alternate for. (Not that I don't love his current voice!)

I think he'd make one hysterical Desire demon. "Come get some baby."

Everything on your list apart for number 13.

My biggest disappointment is that the game could have been great if they spend another year and made it in to an RPG with choices for the main character.

Glaring inconsistencies when playing a Mage-Hawk. Infuriating.
