Hey, you know what I miss? The flames and ice falling off my weapons on my back.
Just had to mention that.
Yeeeeeees, the enchantment effects in DAO were awesome.

Instead of the weapons just flashing for a bit and during combat when I cast Elemental Weapons, they could have been that way the entire time. Except during cutscenes and conversations. That would have been perfect. And the enchantment effects in DA2 were just plain bad (IMO).

Actually one of the things I felt DA2 did far and away better than DAO was shutting off weapon and spell effects out of combat. Nothing looked sillier to me than carrying a sword on fire on your back. "What's that I smell cooking? Oh yes...me."
However, that said, I agree with you that the weapon enchantment effects in DAO looked better. That was a change I found mystifying.

LOL, on the cooking comment nice one! I have thought that having a long ice cube down the back would be a horrible way to travel (always just left the effects running between battles). Although I did have some psychadelic glitches which made the auras a bit, well, neon-like, especially for the flames. I gave up and had to restart on the flaming purpleygreen, though. Your humor, as always, is appreciated, @Cutlass Jack.Cutlass Jack wrote...

Well, now true it was a bit silly but I just took it as since it was yielded by me, it wouldn't hurt me.
But looking back, I guess it wouldn't be so good in the middle of a conversation that lead to an embrace.
Still, it would have been nice to have them demonstrate in a cutscene of someone testing out his new weapon/gift that was recently enchanted. Showing how it 'flames' on when wielded to do so.
That and keeping the weapon enchantment effects of DAO during combat.

I miss stealing. I know that usually is meant for thieves but I still wish my nimble rogue could have had that ability. And it would have been nice to 'unlock' a chest in stealth for risk of getting caught.
And of course, if you have Aveline with you, you can't unlock a chest in someone's home.
Can't steal with the captain of the guard watching.
I think it would have served to make the NPC's more alive if you knew their AI would be watching your actions. And in combat, it could serve to an advantage of items needed if in a bind.
I know there's already a thread to the discussion of stealing but it's topic'd
Without Stealing Are You Sill A Rogue?

My input here is to just say I miss stealing. Not question "Are you still a rogue without it".

Stealing wasn't "AWESOMEBUTTONZ" enough, that's why they streamlined it out and replaced it with daggers that have the powers of causing 'SPLOSIONS!
