Anything Bruce Campbell related trumps most things. It was because of him I use Old Spice deodorant, that and NPH's funny commercials.

Are you the man my wife wishes her man would smell like?

I'm on a horse!

See, Bioware, THIS is the kind of interaction we need in the game! Pointless, spirited, fun INTERACTIVE conversation!! We know you can do it! Please bring it back!! (And I still would vote Bruce Campbell in as a VA in DA3 if you can talk him into it) :-)

I agree. I agree so much. Gods, I loved going around in circles with Sten in conversation. I loved talking to them all. My Warden was a part of them, she belonged. Yes, I did spread out the conversations over the whole game. It was my choice. My warden was right in the  middle of them. She was included, she mattered to them.

In DA 2, Hawke didn't. She was excluded. Dog was included, but she was left out in the cold. The companion's line after clicking might as well said "Don't call us, we call you. Now go away."

It's a nice change of pace from hearing/mentioning the same complaints over each topic. Every once in a while we need something to lighten the mood. By doing so, we, the members here get better acquainted with each other over doing so.

This is what was so needed in DA2.

^^^ See how it all goes back to the same rants/opinions, DanConnors? Which at this point the pinata known as the dead horse still finds it's way in almost every thread, if not all.

Edit: Corrected my bad grammar:)

True. The forums are scary atm. It is actually refreshing to interact with others. I know that Jack, for example, does not share my view of DA 2. But it is still wonderful that we can interact without tearing each others throat out. The same goes for Rocky and Persephone, and others. Yes, we do have different views, but that does not make us arch-enemies.

Muahahaha my evil plan is working! *composes self* er, I mean, yes, I agree fully.Image IPB

Seriously though I have zero problem with someone not sharing my view about DA2. As long as they are open to the notion of the same. I admittedly have a low tolerance for posters who feel the need to 'Kanye' a positive thread ("I'm glad you like the game, and that's cool. But now I'm going to spend six paragraphs calling people who like the game idiots."). Or who create negative threads purely to insult/trashtalk without actual constructive content.

But actual constructive criticisms and openness to discuss? That's all good. Carry on.

Oh ye gods. I so like you all. You are simply the tops. Even though some of us don't see "eye to eye" in some aspects.

And Nepp. Please give Jack is mascara back. Or else I'll set his wife on you. She rocks, and you should be scared. Very scared.

What's your biggest gripe?

2. Being told this was the game you asked for.

5. The way 90% of the "loot" was useless.

6.  That cave.

8.  Your the Champion of Kirkwall and a "noble" ... and you have 15 gold to your name and you're everyone's errand boy.

9. What choices did you make? Whom did you side with? Surprise, it doesn't matter! You still have to kill everyone.

10. Except for the ones you want to ...

12. You got suckered into pre-ordering it.

13. You're still playing it hoping it will get better.

14. etc., etc.

These I guess, your forgot
  • Not being able to customize my party
  • Not being able to use party members when I want to
  • Being "forced" to always have a rogue if you want loot in chests
  • Being "forced" to use Varric because his Crossbow is obscenely over powered
  • "Sustained modes" draining all mana and stamina in the name of "balance"
  • Linear class development presented with non linear graphics even tho they have linear requirements
  •   I.e. you cant get a Reaver passive boost unless you unlock the Activated abilities you don't even want and cant use anyway because Hawke never has stamina
  • Being forced to spend points on abilities that CAN NOT be activated at the same time, in order to unlock more abilities that you really do want.  They call this the "gift with purchase" business model

Jack won my love with the loss of the first keyboard due to his rapacious wit:P. And you dont' have to steal his mascara, he'll share it. Though the rum is another story.

And rum-flavored cookies, apparently. (Sten is not going to like this one bit).
